  1. Money went on the stadium and the training ground. Who knows how we will react to Thursday. Advantage hibs given that they have a full week to prepare. However, it looks like the only available defenders they have are Mullen, Stevenson and Hanlon so hopefully we get torn into them from the start.
  2. If it had a chance of working, I'd have reluctantly invested.
  3. Read up a wee bit on Pritchard yesterday although assumed there was nothing in it given that he played for Charlton yesterday and has a year to run on his contract. Does seem to have a bit of quality about him. Far from a direct replacement for Humphrey but appears to be a tenacious box to box player that would add some much needed energy to the midfield. If there is any truth in the rumour, I suspect he could do an Alan McCormack style job on the right.
  4. No doubt McCalls attitude and approach to Europe is very different this year. Last year we were almost apologising for gaining a shot at a CL qualifier whereas the noises coming out of FP this summer are far more positive. Sounds like Kuban are going to be far too good for us but with experience like McManus and McFadden and a more solid looking midfield, we are much better equipped to grind out a backs against the wall 1-0 than previous seasons.
  5. Established international for the Faroes. Early days but he was far from convincing at Morecambe.
  6. If we beat Kuban, will we be seeded for the playoff?
  7. Wasn't overly impressed with Nielsen at Morecambe but the inclusion of Hollis is an interesting one...
  8. There is no way Shaka you could get away with Lawson and Vigurs as a midfield two. Have doubts either would flourish in a midfield two tbh. Really hoping Carswell makes his mark this season. Who knows what names we are looking at to replace Ojamaa and Humphrey but we could do worse than the likes of Chris Maguire,, should he be available on loan again.
  9. Get Skippy signed and we'll win the league.
  10. We're we not £15 against the likes of the Norwegian mob? Shouldn't be anymore than that until you get into the playoffs.
  11. Hopefully tickets are no more than £15 in order to ensure a half decent crowd.
  12. Are Rangers unable to sign any senior players at the moment? Noticed that St Johnstone seem to be back in with a shout of retaining Murray Davidson, previously courted by Ally.
  13. Portuguese trialist more prominent than the French trialist that a doubt we'll see again. Really looks like we are toiling to find a right winger. Estonian boy put in a shift. Good header from Jack Smith.
  14. Can't decide whether to go to Morecambe or Cowdenbeath? Don't really see the sense in splitting the squad given that we only have one more opportunity to gel before we host this Russian mob.
  15. He'd be more of a direct replacement for Law.
  16. Maybe throw Scott Allan into the deal for good measure.
  17. Cheers, hopefully onto a decent bit of business again.
  18. Couple of Estonian strikers on the books of Golden Star Management. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/golden-star-management/details/berater_2144.html
  19. Nope, technically gifted defender.
  20. Right back / centre half, formerly of QoS and Morton. On trial.
  21. That's my hunch. Still amazed by the prospect of signing McManus given that he's been training with Hibs. Two high quality signings if we can pull it off!
  22. Doubt Celtic would loan out any players to their nearest challengers. McCall would have worked with Watt for a week on the build up to the Croatia game so you never know. I'd be more interested in McGeough though, doubt Watt would contribute positively to team harmony.
