  1. Horrible performance, horrible police presence. It will be a while before I head back there.
  2. Aye Hammell is a fair shout. One of the few to do themselves justice.
  3. Sounds like Leitch's boy put in a bit of a star turn at Ibrox.
  4. Shouldn't go into this with any fears. Keeper and defence really need to step it up though.
  5. If McFadden is fit he has to play next week. If he hadn't returned last season, we'd probably still have a honking record against Celtic. Harsh on Anier and ZFA but I'd start with McFadden and Ainsworth in behind Surton next week with Lawson being added to the midfield.
  6. McCall said on Friday that someone tweaked their hamstring during training. Assume that was McFadden then? I thought he was having a decent enough game. Look forward to seeing him and Ainsworth playing together.
  7. Lee Erwin has 4 goals in 4 games for Arbroath. Unplayable today apparently.
  8. Sutton. Two excellent goals and impressive link up play.
  9. Decent enough first half, thought we got off to a good start but was concerned how easily we were getting exposed down Ramsden's side and it wasn't a surprise we lost a goal from there. Early in the 2nd half I feared the worst, we lacked a playmaker and expected a turgid 2nd half. Sutton and Ainsworth really turned things round though and Carswell came onto a game. Some really good goals that would have been eclipsed if Anier had finished off a fine move with his diving header. Special mention for McHugh, that's the biggest impact he has made since that Aberdeen game. Fine header to underline that he is a natural finisher. Hooefully we go to Parkhead next week with genuine belief.
  10. Aberdeen are by far the best team we've faced in the league this season. They've obviously got a recent cup hoodoo over us but I fancy that we may thrive as underdogs. Should be a good night to look forward too.
  11. Lots of teams looking at Scougall. Punted by Hibs a few years ago for being too lightweight.
  12. Faddy for me, worked away and showed some class with the goal. Looking at Livi, Scougall caught the eye.
  13. Chuffed to be through and see Faddy get the monkey off his back in typical fashion but we were far from impressive. Nobody really stood out but at least we grinded it out against a nippy Livi side. Can't imagine Lawson ever playing well in a 442. Bright spot for me was the brief outing for Moore. Hopefully he moves ahead of McHugh in the pecking order soon.
  14. Slightly more nervous about tomorrow now. Well done to Morton.
  15. Looking forward to this, should take a decent crowd. If McCall is comfortable in doing so, I'd be looking for us to give Neilson a game and rest the experienced trio of Hammell, Lasley and Sutton. Vigurs looks like he needs games and I'd stick him out on the left with ZFA providing mobility on the overlap.
  16. Good shift from Lasley but we were overun at times in the 2nd half. Sutton also impressed winning an unbelievable amount of headers. ZFA edges motm for me though, threat throughout and appears to be maturing by the week. Racking up an impressive number of assists too.
  17. Solid point and an enjoyable game. Thought we were in control at ht but fully anticipated United to be a different side in the 2nd half. Two good goals and another encouraging performance from ZFA. Sutton and Anier a handful throughout. Don't think we have found the right balance in midfield yet and we were cut open with alarming ease. Would like to see us returning to a conventional 442 with both Lasley and Carswell sitting. Vigurs yet to show any hint of improvement IMO.
  18. I never realised the game was on the telly, assumed Dundee were at home on the Sat. Who knows how this one will pan out. Dundee United a front line capable of destroying teams in the league when they click. We have a decent record up there though and may frustrate them with a view to exploiting their ropey defence.
  19. Hopefully we can continue to play a couple of first team guys in these games, should help being the young ones on. Still seems a but strange to me that Neilson isn't featuring in these games. The more reports I read, the name Dom Thomas becomes more prominent....
  20. The push to get games back at Fir Park didn't last long. Also don't understand why the likes of Hibs hire Livi's ground.
  21. Did Anier play for Estonia on Tues? If so, he may well start from bench with Ainsworth coming in.
  22. Cheap point scoring from a beleaguered Tory party.
