  1. If anything, we shat it. Humped by a front 3 of aluko, Healy and fleck...
  2. If his time at bradford is anything to go by, the 451 is here to stay.
  3. Anyone know how many performances and losses Craigan, Lasley and Hammell have notched up against Rangers. Three terrific Motherwell servants but their confidence must have shot to pieces years ago with regards taking on the old firm and rangers in particular. These guys are the very fabric of the club but I doubt we will ever get a result at Ibrox during their remaining years.
  4. I'll be waiting to hear the starting lineup before deciding whether to head down. Couple of the youger lads deserve the opportunity.
  5. Without doubt, the worst rangers team in my lifetime 3 Yet another heartless Motherwell squad 0 Second half of the season is going to be tough going.
  6. Judging by the back of the ticket, the sales office is still across from the away entrance...
  7. Tickets still available at Fir Park. Awaiting clarification as to where they will be available for anyone that wants one on the Monday.
  8. Hopefully McCall doesn't spout his usual patronising shite in the build up to this game. St mirren, St Johnstone and Inverness have more than matched them at Ibrox in recent times. If McCall can address the absence of Jennings we should at the very least make them work hard for a result.
  9. Tickets surely on sale until the weekend?
  10. Fuck, not looking forward to Ibrox so much now.
  11. Yeah, yesterday afternoon would have seen much healthier crowds across Scotland.
  12. I have to pick my games so when I opt to spend £90 on tickets for the missus and I to see us at Tynecastle and Ibrox, a midweek game against a dire Dunfermline team has to take a back seat.
  13. Nothing tongue in cheek about murphy filling in for hammell. Maybe the wrong phrase but he spends a significant chunk of his game tracking back, clearly under instruction. While he lacks strength, centre forward is his natural game. His pace and movement should be enough to get the better of most spl centre halves. When he gets his move, he'll no doubt bulk up in a similar fashion to the likes of s fletch and naismith.
  14. Aye, a 3-0 in the early 90s rings a bell with me.
  15. Steelboy spot on with reading murphy and law's game. I don't know how folk can view his best position as wide left. He needs license to focus on going forward as opposed to filling in for hammell time after time.
  16. Surely Hughes deserves a bit of time to get his fitness? After all, it takes Jennings 2 months to get going after a summer break before turning in to our most vital player. Hughes will come good and his comfort in possession will reap the rewards. As for the Dunfermline game, I'd like to see Murphy upfront and Humphrey on the right. Law deserves to be dropped but I'd probably give him a shot wide left.
  17. Murphy was having a half decent game until he took a knock in the first half.
  18. Thats been a long time coming. Hopefully serves as a wake up call. We set up for a draw today and offered very little going forward. Law does my nut in despite his talent while Hately had a rare howler. How the 2 of them lasted 90 minutes is beyond me. Interesting to see how we react gainst the league's whipping boys. We have to go 442.
  19. I could watch Tommy Coyne all day long. 12 goals by Nov 5th. How many did he end up with that season?
  20. Al and Eddie spot on. Accept the understandable punishment and move on.
  21. I'm not surprised he has ended up with a ban. Albeit I doubt the incident would have been investigated if it wasn't for Goodwin's reaction. Hopefully he returns from his scouse Christmas in decent shape for Ibrox.
  22. Just watched the game on Alba. Never really doubted us today as we are miles ahead of St Johnstone. When we get going there is a gulf in class between us and the 9 teams below us and we should cherish this spectacular away form while it lasts. Carrying this momentum into our home matches would be the icing on the cake.
  23. I don't think we are particularly great, just better than the competition. The fact that an average St Johnstone side are 4th in the league sums up how poor the standard is.
  24. St Johnstone will fade away, they are far from being a great side.
