  1. None of the attack minded players at the top of their game, Clancy the most solid of the defenders. Harkins best player on the park.
  2. I'll be on that too. Decent threat at corners.
  3. Hateley's free kick was a fine celebration, there was a great atmosphere all game and that rounded off the day perfectly. I think that kept us top of the league as well eh. Juding by the highlights from Saturday, Easter Road may well have been the highlight if I was there because that looked like a superb away performance that we controlled from start to finish. Bob McHugh's goal will stay with me for a while too. I liked what I saw of him in his sub appearance against Hibs and everyhting about that goal against Aberdeen indicated to me that we may have a very useful player at our disposal. Shame he hasn't had any minutes on the park since.
  4. Looking forward to this game albeit I'm always fearful that a St Johnstone type performance is just around the corner. Heffernan and Shiels have always been good players and seem to be doing the business for Killie so we will need to try and keep them quiet . Hopefully Murphy has got his confidence back and is set to go on a scoring spree. Massive that we keep winning in the run-up to the Celtic game.
  5. I imagine a helluva lot of work has went into this so I hope there are decent subscription levels. A fiver a month seems decent to me. Decent opportunity for whoever is involved in commentating etc. The boy that started off on Hibs TV has nailed a regular gig on Sky over the last year or so.

    Faddy

Celtic will be out of Europe by the time Faddy is fit. Challenging for honours? League Cup maybe. If Everton offer him a half decent wage with a shred of security, he won't contemplate going elsewhere.

Heading into hospital tomorrow for a wee operation. If this deal goes through the Doc would be as well ripping my heart out.
  8. There may well be a Scotland friendly in November.
  9. The win would have been 1-0 Sutton eh? Real blow that O'Connor is going to be playing, I struggle to see how we can handle him. If the Jennings lalsey partnership is on song we should be in with a chance. Hibs seems to have improved a wee bit at the back since putting Murray into centre half and Towell playing in midfield. Their two full backs should be there for the taking though.
  10. To be fair, he passed the ball out the park all day. Joked about it at the time mind you. I'm no sure if you can still bet on such incidents.
  11. Wazza's brief will sort things out. 10/1 for a red card is daft odds to offer
  12. I trust the SPL and Motherwell will stand by him until proven guilty.
  13. Lets hope we are still above them when they come to town on Nov 6th. If that were the case and we were to show some belief, Celtic would be well and truly there for the taking.
  14. Really didn't fancy us today so delighted with the victory. Glad to hear that Jennings put in a performance and Clancy/Craigan looked fairly solid. Two goals for Higdon most pleasing of all. Hopefully we can overcome the International break this time and hit our stride when we go to Easter Road.
  15. Managers get it in the neck all the time for making questionable substitutions. This has been blown well out of proportion.
  16. Am I the only one that has doubts over Daley?
  17. I'm pretty sure we will get humped up there. Fear for our defence away from home. Swanson on fire for them just now.

    Aberdeen

Unlike some of his team-mates, Lasley showed no side-effects from running himself into the ground on Tuesday and continued to carry Jennings on his back. I thought Clancy was relatively solid as well. Motm has to go to Bob McHugh though, massive impact during his 15/20 minutes on the pitch.
  19. Instantly forgettable performance but delighted with the 3 points. Couldn't be happier for McHugh. Refreshing to see a boy chase down a lost cause, show some aggression and go on to show composure in front of goal. These are rare commodities in the current Motherwell set-up. There is a wee bit of the Scott McDonald about him. Broon had us well sussed today as you would expect, with them nullifying the usual threat from the flanks, so we done well to grind them down and get a late winner. We could really do with a bit of craft and composure on the ball coming from the middle of the park though.
  20. He was rotten today, looked like 3 games in a week had taken it's toll on him. Far from the only one that was poor today though. For whatever reason, Higdon and Murphy don't really look any closer to striking up an understanding. McCall needs to work out how to get the best out of them.
  21. No doubt the young Falkirk kids will have the belief battered out of them by seasoned professionals in the years to come.
  22. Yip, Forbes in for Daley with Law drifting wide and that would be my ideal line-up at present. Anticipating a decent performance from Aberdeen.
  23. Agreed. Lasley has been struggling in recent weeks but he dragged us through the game last night.
