Thanks for sharing Superward. Sensible and responsible approach outlined. However, I imagine it will take some juggling of figures to prove that we are self sustainable on the worst case scenario while making repayments to LH and matching the ambition of McGhee.
-
Boyd was my 1st ever hero. His antics before the cup final in 2011 ruined the occasion before the game even kicked off. Hope there is a decent turnout for tomorrow night despite coinciding with the Scotland game.

I really like Kennedy. He's prone to an error but so was Hutchinson. On Saturday I thought he looked more comfortable with the ball at his feet. Indeed the first goal stemmed from his willingness to create. Credit to McGhee. I feared that Laing and Kennedy were getting treated a tad harshly since December but the managers' approach seems to be having the desired effect on the pair of them now.

A bit of a silly question maybe but once the fans have 75% share in the club will the WS definitely still exist as one group representing that shareholding? Personally, I know the offer of individual shares has always been there but I may find it more enticing now if we are fan owned to invest that way, particularly if I continue to be unimpressed by the WS.

With many folk receiving upwards of 100 emails a day, there has to be multiple forms of communication to meet your audience. Having said that, I never miss the weekly updates from Motherwell or the First Minister (there's an example of paying £5 a month and feeling fully engaged in a progressive and informed environment).

If he could stay fit I'm very confident he could score goals at this level no bother.

Good challenge. Not sure if the most recent but I seen you mention the 3-2 McHugh game at Easter Road on Facebook. The week before Rocco Quinn put Ross County ahead at Fir Park before we went on to win 3-2. Doesn't quite match the criteria of your question but a couple of comebacks that immediately spring to mind.
-
Win this and then top 4 becomes a distinct possibility. Slight concern is the absence of McGhee and Robinson for much of the next fortnight. Hopefully the players enjoy their rest and can then pick up from where they left off.

Louis Moult. Outstanding!
-
Brilliant result against they bottle merchants. I absolutely love Louis Moult. Delighted to have taken advantage of the very generous 4/1 on offer.
-
Just about stripped myself off the ceiling after returning from Cheltenham. 3-2 Motherwell. Skippy, Moult and Ainsworth. Nae bother.

Just returned from a few days down south. I've kept an eye on here but has there been any word on a meeting with the fans? I thought something should have been announced in conjunction with the club statement on Tuesday evening. As I've said I've little interest in fan control. I am however interested in holding those in control to account. If that means joining up in order to have a say, then so be it.
-
In principle, I am open to fans having a share in a club. Primarily to prevent a rogue chairman running riot. My stance stems from being a numbers man. While I have no interest in Motherwell fans being the majority shareholder, If I seen any sign of strategy or feasible financial projections that could offer a glimpse of potential success, I'd put my heart before my head and invest.

I don't think many top clubs in Scotland are self-sustainable in the true sense of the word. We certainly haven't been. For such a plan to get off the ground you need a suitable buffer to cover lean times. Les, the club and WS all signalled this over a year ago. If we want to be truly self-sustainable and operate at the corresponding level, then that's another debate.
-
Still a no from me. 1. Motherwell does not have the fan base to be self-sustainable, particularly in the current climate. 2. The WS has not been ran in a competent manner and does little to engage fans in key decisions. 3. Given the departures in recent years, it's highly debatable whether we have a sufficiently experienced Board to run a football club. 4. We have not accumulated the working capital that was deemed necessary in the eye of an optimist to make fan ownership plausible. 5. I'm a fan, I support club to the hilt and over the course of 27 years my family and I have spent a serious amount of money to support my hobby. And it's been money well spent. However, I have no interest in our club setting a precedent for fan ownership when 99% of British clubs have been owned by Businessmen and women for 100+ years.

Writing has been on the wall for some time. Precarious times ahead unfortunately.

Win this and we are well on our way to top 6. Regardless of how much of a patched up team we need to put out, hopefully we can feed off the pressure on Aberdeen and go toe to toe with them. If Skippy is available I'd play him in midfield, it's what should have happened at Tynecastle. Looking forward to this game and expect Aberdeen to maybe bring down 3000+. Personally, I hope I return in decent enough nick from Cheltenham in order to enjoy this.

I'm not into anti-Motherwell vibes in the slightest but it's hard to understand why Sportscene picked up on this while glossing over the elbow from the Hibs boy in the final. I understand Bartley got a yellow so there can't be retrospective action but such a blatant incident was surely worth discussion. I personally think it may be down to the profile of the player involved. Had Cummings thrown the elbow in the final and it was Josh Law in our game, you would probably see a role reversal.

Losing Pearson for 6 weeks is a sore one, fair play to him for trying to play on with such an injury. It took McGhee a long time to carve out a fluid 433 formation and I fear with Pearson out for some time, we may struggle to formulate such a balanced team. If he isn't suspended, we'll probably have to depend on Skippy doing a job this week and/or draft Leitch in. On the subject of quality midfielders, Jackson Irvine was terrific again today. Wonder if we did come close to signing him in the summer.
-
Didn't realise Jackson had went bankrupt. Explains why he looked an absolute tink on sportscene the other week. Thought he'd have creamed a few quid out of United.
-
Glad Accies beat Inverness. It's all about the top 6 so Dundee and Inverness losing today suits us perfectly. Hopefully we have sufficient players available in order to have a right good go at Aberdeen next week.
-
Marvin and Moult compliment each other very well. The willingness to run in behind and excellent hold-up play just edged the class of Johnson.
-
Definitely onside. Really poor defending from Hammell.
-
Really enjoyed that tonight. Right good battle and we managed to play some good football at times while keeping our bottle throughout. Credit to Skippy, Cadden and Thomas for their contributions when Lasley when off. Moult ran himself into the ground as usual while Marvin's quality made the difference. Big 3 points but it could obviously be costly. McDonald is like to get a ban but hopefully Pearson and Lasley are ok. That was a helluva hit Lasley took, his attempt to get up epitomises the sheet steel of the man.
-
Hopefully Fletcher gets a chance to prove himself in the coming weeks. Moult is on a different level in terms of potential but I reckon Fletcher would score a good few if he could get a run of games.
