Yes. He was on the phone to McCall for a couple of hours. Suspect be spent a fair bit of time on this forum too as he said absolutely everything we wanted to hear.
Ideally, people who have experience in football.
Two fans and a deluded tax exile who's vision of Lanarkshire is entrenched in the 1980s, have appointed an absolute phoney. And it's been clear as day since Jan/Feb.
I'd be amazed if he hasn't partied company by tomorrow morning but I hope him and Burrows give us one more post-match interview.
All the best for the future Bara. Top bluffer. Thanks for Ibrox.
I don't know. Weir seemed to do a good job previously and we've yet to hear anything from our new directors. The likes of Burrows, McCafferty and Hutchison don't have the know-how.
Ideally, the current debacle will see Les put the club up for sale.
The lineup tonight suggests to me that he has possibly lost the dressing room and chucked it.
Given the emphasis the club has put on cup-runs, there is no way Lasley, Skippy, Ainsworth and Moult should all be on the bench.
Baraclough isn't averse to change and we may see a last throw of the dice. I'd be inclined attack them with direct running and go with:
Ripley
Law Kennedy McManus Hammell
Lasley Grimshaw
Ainsworth Thomas Johnson
Skippy
A manager with a bit of savvy who can deliver what he promotes.
Baraclough came in and said all the right things but he hasn't came close to fulfilling any of his objectives. Infact many of his actions have contradicted his ethos.
It's been a textbook move from a professional bluffer.
Embed a new structure and fill with new staff. Due to the inevitable consequences, it takes longer than usual to be dismissed for incompetence.
Glad I avoided this one.
Morton will do us on Tuesday and hopefully that's enough for the tax exile and McCafferty to take responsibility for their monumental fuck-up.
Some players are a slow burner. I recall Jutkiewicz having many doubters for looking a bit awkward to begin with.
Taylor is a different story. At best, he is lacking confidence but I've rarely seen a player hide from the ball so much.
Connor Grant would have been a much better option.
Dan was a level up from Gunnar and Hollis. Our change in fortunes in conjunction with Dan's loan spell demonstrated his superiority.
Reading between the lines, Neilsen didn't have the bottle.
Ripely had done nothing to suggest he is any better than Twardzik in my opinion, just like Long.
The club rightly or wrongly have no faith in Dan so the sooner he gets a move, the better.
We paid a transfer fee for Moult and signed him up for 3 years. Fletcher signed for 1 year with a 1 year option - I suspect we hedged our bets given his injury record.
5/6 are out of contract in summer. Don't get me wrong Moult is good business and Fletcher may prove to be too. However, a club that's looking to be self sustainable should be running with a slimmer squad.
