Yeah not much football in the last 2 years and he's going to train through the summer. Hopefully he can kick on.
-
Largely anonymous against us but he may benefit from being surrounded by a higher standard of player.
-
Assumed we are going with the sash since the marketing material for STs was released. Cash Converters have been a pretty good sponsor in terms of how much interest they've taken in the club and fans. However, I'd expect the owner to look for sponsorship that reflects our community focus.

The Current Under 20's Squad - Anyone Looking Like Making The Move Up?
Lobey_Dosser replied to David's topic in Club Chat
Did Cadden get much game time at Albion Rovers? Based on the u20s highlights from last season, he looked promising. -
I think Laing would fit the blueprint of the new regime perfectly. Seems to be a boy with the right attitude and plenty of raw ability. He came onto a good game in recent months to reflect the reputation he had earned at Notts County.
-
I thought competition for Hammell was a priority last summer as we started to see signs that niggles were catching up with him. Never seen Chalmers but hopefully he can get up and down the park. I actually liked the look of Falkirk's current left back.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Vigurs back injury clear up in time for the start of the season. Ramsden done a job, a fantastic job actually until he got a bad injury last season. Time for him to move on.

Moore is supposed to be a top trainer with a great attitude so would be slightly surprised if he fell out with the manager. Carswell was teachers pet under McCall. Expect him to fall down the leagues quickly.

Robinson: Wife Was The Only Family Cheering For Well

I think he may prove to be Baraclough's best signing. -
I would love someone to tell Chic that one of the reasons we finished 11th before 'raising our game' for Rangers was because his pal McCall left us in a fine mess.
-
Ha - what the fuck was that all about. Tuned to the moon. As for the program in general, half an hour spent on Moshni and the 'Well fans with a brief 2 minutes dedicated to the Scottish Cup winners.

Motherwell V The Rangers Spfl Playoff Final 2Nd Leg 31/05/15

Get it right up these bastards. -
Ainsworth can also last 90 minutes now, something that didn't happen under McCall.
-
Given he's out of contract, you can't grumble at £500k for Erwin. I've always had a soft spot for the boy and think he has the makings of a Scotland player. Hopefully he returns from Vegas in one piece, settles in England, and goes on to fulfil his potential.

Regarding the potential 'riot' being discussed in the paper, the Police seemed to step in as and when required. They could have arguably done more to prevent fans going on the pitch but it was never really going to kick off. Kudos to the club. Main stand apart when tickets were seemingly purchased prior to the game at Easter Road, the office staff done a remarkable job in keeping Rangers fans out the home end.

I had mixed emotions about the penalty dilemma but could fully understand Erwin's frustrations. The boy ran himself into the ground over 2 legs against his former boyhood heroes. Anyway, Skippy handled it well. Got a daft feeling he may stay unless he gets a really good offer elsewhere.
-
Hopefully get Erwin sorted out one way or the other in the next few days. Although I think he's away on holiday tomorrow. Would like to see Ainsworth stay and for Laing and Grant to return. Imagine Skippy and Sutton have options but you never know...

I've been a critic but he's went and gave me 2 of the best days ever following Motherwell. Hugely impressed by how he approached the Ibrox game and managed us through today. We looked to be very well drilled. Interesting summer ahead.
-
Johnson's ability to carry the ball has added a much needed dynamic to the team and he was a real threat over the 2 legs. McManus edges the vote for me. After an indifferent season, he's really stepped up to the plate when the pressure was on. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Laing together next season.

Said in another thread, I take my hat off to Flow and the club for their recent conduct. Standing up to Rangers really set the tone for our approach on the park. 7500 'Well fans through the door, hopefully we can entice a few back next season.

Motherwell V The Rangers Spfl Playoff Final 2Nd Leg 31/05/15

Wee bit too easy in the end but today ensures that the Ibrox experience righly remains as one of my best nights ever. Full credit to Baraclough, the coaching staff and the players for doing such a comprehensive job in a pressure situation. 6-1 in such circumstances is almost beyond comprehension. Full credit to Flow and the club regarding ticket allocation. For the first time in my adult life, the club really stood up to Rangers and set the tone for the week. I imagine there will be a few departures in the coming days but we've got something to build on. -
Good move for Randolph. Hopefully he gets his chance as no1. Best keeper I've ever seen at Motherwell. That was a poor mistake from Jamie MacDonald today, possibly caught cold due to Falkirk's dominance in 2nd half. However, he seemingly reserves his best for Hibs games.

Motherwell V The Rangers Spfl Playoff Final 2Nd Leg 31/05/15

I'm a tad more apprehensive about tomorrow than I was Ibrox. Rangers will be a dangerous beast with absolutely nothing to lose and a siege mentality on and off the park, galvanised by the ticket situation. We dealt with just about everything on Thursday and it needs to be the same again tomorrow. If they score first, stand up to it and play the way we like to play. Tactically Baraclough was spot on at Ibrox. Skippy was instrumental in midfield which totally threw McCall. Tomorrow, we need to be able to overcome from the prospect of McCall trying to take him out the game. Hopefully the team is fully fit and we can approach with the same intensity and composure that ripped Rangers to shreds for large spells on Thursday. 'Mon the 'Well. -
Max per head was 2 when I was back down this morning. Sure the club will get you sorted though.

Could watch that over and over again. See myself going mental. Absolute peach of a goal.
