Season Ticket marketing was a giveaway.

Thought we'd have heard more about friendlies this week. I see St Mirren have booked a decent trip to Hillsborough.

I recall my confidence building as I watched his Ibrox pre-match. However this was tempered by the growing perception that he says what the fans want to hear. Turns out he was absolutely on. He and Robinson deserve credit for installing confidence in a team that had it's mentality questioned throughout the season. They also deserve huge credit for having us so well drilled in such a pressurised situation.

I was thinking the same. Hope so.

I wouldn't be surprised if we go into the season a few players light, leading to an end of August rush. It's the way of the market.

Freed youngster, Steven Higgins, gets a decent move to Queen of the South. Good luck to him.

The rumour in January was that we were close to signing Lyle Taylor. Think Partick Thistle are currently struggling to agree terms.

I suspected we'd come away from Cash Converters. Wonder what Les has up his sleeve.

All the very best to Sutton. Tremendous servant and goal scorer who didn't spit the dummy when he was dropped for Erwin. His goals will be missed but for the sake of his own career, I think St Johnstone will be a good fit for him.

Given the whirlwind nature of his arrival on deadline day, I doubt we'd stand in his way if a significant offer was made for him to return south. However the move to Motherwell was a jump in quality and fitness, clubs willing to spend north of £500k therefore may want to see him performing week in week for another 6 months or so. Hopefully we have more signings like him lined up.

Listening to Erwin's interview, it was the middle of May before there was any contact with Leeds and the concrete offer wasn't made until the end of May. Given that they've watched us closely and are crying out for pace, I wouldn't be surprised if there's something in the Marvin rumour.

Always had a soft spot for Lee since he started making an impression in the youth teams and his talent was obvious. I think he would have benefited from at least another half season in Scotland. However, when you consider the amount of time he has lost to injury, you can't blame him for taking the opportunity. Wish him all the best at Leeds and if he settles down South and fulfills his potential, I'll hopefully get to cheer him on in a Scotland jersey.

Good listen although I was also waiting for the VDG question. Had no idea about the Man Utd loan and was glad to hear he turned down a move to Aberdeen. Left back is a position we've been blessed in but he's undoubtedly the best of the lot in my lifetime.

If we were to go down this route with Macron, black and grey camouflage with a hint of claret and amber could possibly work.

Jamie Murphy starting to get linked with a couple of championship clubs. Did we negotiate a sell-on clause for him?

Yeah not much football in the last 2 years and he's going to train through the summer. Hopefully he can kick on.

Largely anonymous against us but he may benefit from being surrounded by a higher standard of player.

Assumed we are going with the sash since the marketing material for STs was released. Cash Converters have been a pretty good sponsor in terms of how much interest they've taken in the club and fans. However, I'd expect the owner to look for sponsorship that reflects our community focus.

Did Cadden get much game time at Albion Rovers? Based on the u20s highlights from last season, he looked promising.

I think Laing would fit the blueprint of the new regime perfectly. Seems to be a boy with the right attitude and plenty of raw ability. He came onto a good game in recent months to reflect the reputation he had earned at Notts County.

I thought competition for Hammell was a priority last summer as we started to see signs that niggles were catching up with him. Never seen Chalmers but hopefully he can get up and down the park. I actually liked the look of Falkirk's current left back.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Vigurs back injury clear up in time for the start of the season. Ramsden done a job, a fantastic job actually until he got a bad injury last season. Time for him to move on.

Moore is supposed to be a top trainer with a great attitude so would be slightly surprised if he fell out with the manager. Carswell was teachers pet under McCall. Expect him to fall down the leagues quickly.
