Sorry, but steak pies, macaroni pies, curry pies on anything else that isnt a good old fashioned Scotch Pie have no place at a Scottish football match. If it's not a scotch pie or a bovril, it shouldn't be on the menu, The scotch pie and bovril has seen off everything since the 'MAAAACCCCAAARRRROOONNNNN, CHEEEEEWWWWINGGGG GUM' in the early 70s and thats the way it should stay.

That was some takedown from KVV.....

Stuck at work for at very least the first half today. What's a good source for watchable streams since hesgoal disappeared ?

The strip we wore against the h**s in the 1976 SC semi......with the white top and claret and amber strips down one side, but with claret shorts and socks would get my vote. We've had a couple similar over the years but with white shorts, which is shite 🙂

Missed the game today cause of work (probably a good thing, cause i'm a jinx) and just got into car to come home as injury time was starting, so had time to get home and have ma dinner before the final whistle 🙂 Well done 'Well !! Great to take points of these c**ts. Now, 5 wins after the split please......

^^ This. One of my big gripes with Robinson (a lot of the time), Alexander and then Hammel was playing a formation that played players out of their position and shoehorning square pegs into round holes, which means that a lot of players weren't getting the chance to do what they were good at. Kettlewell has put together a formation that is generally playing players where they're at their best. KVV is a great example. You canny have an instinctive goal scorer being given the ball on the half way line out wide, He needs service in and around the box. Goss at 'quarterback', Cornelius chasing and harrying and Spittal going forward quickly gets the best out of all of them. Overlapping backs negate the need for wingers and we have 2 good ones right now. McKinstry may be a player but there's no place for a winger in the current set up. Would be mental to alter a winning formula to accomodate a loan player.

Just back in from the game. Can only really describe i as 'comfortble'. Don't think they actually had a shot on target until a weak shot right at Kelly early in the 2nf half. Impressed with just about everyone today, other than Mandron who looks slow and doesn't really get off the ground. Midfield were good today, Goss can play some right nice passes, Spittal great going forward. Butcher is fucking immense in organising that back line. Hope he's not injured badly. Livi looked pretty pish TBH Great result and a decent performance all round.

Making the trip 'across the watter' for this one. Apologies to all 'Well fans, my presence these days can only mean defeat. If I don't make it for some reason, I'm going 2-0 to the good guys, with KVV and someone else getting the goals either side of half time.

Even Kenny Miller doesn't agree with the red card.

Maybe Beavis will go and play up front

COYW ! Any watchable links ? I can't get home for this one.

3-1 Motherwell. Their goal is a penalty, obviously.

Reilly did a dummy turn down the wing to beat the defender, crossed for Walker to loop a header into the far corner.

My first ever game against the Buns was the first season of the 'new' 10 team premier league in 75/76 season (i think). We drew 5 in a row (including the Tims), lost to St J, then pumped Hibs and Rangers (3-1). I ended up at that time with an inbuilt false sense of security that we'd beat them regularly. In them days, we kinda did though.

Seems to be something that was missed in the discussion, which concentrated on the cross and goal for KVVs header, but the entire move from edge of box to goal was great stuff which seems to have gone un noticed ! On the KVV debate, you could look back on posts from Alexanders time in charge where I complained about how KVV was played. He spent far too much time collecting the ball on the half way line and out on the wings. The guy is a striker and a decent one. He needs to receive the ball in scoring positions in and around the box. thats what good strikers do. Whenj he gets the ball in the right places, he scores the goals. All this 'downed tools' patter is just pish.

C'mon the 'well....lets win this and start looking up the table rather than down it !

	4-0 To the 'Well

Welcome to the club Richard. You probably havent't been here since the play off when Marvin Johnson ripped you a new one and you spent the day with a wee petted lip commiting petulant fouls 😃

	FFS.

How half empty is your glass ? We were by far the more threatening team in the second half, even on that abomanation of a pitch. Draw was the least we deserved.
