A little bit of badge kissingand some pish about 'being delighted to be back at the biggest club in the world' and they'll be back singing folk songs about him again. Managing an EPL club outside of the top four or five is a no win situation (except financially). Every club picks up the best part of £100 Million from TV annualy and the top teams (the ones that win things) are spending many more times that. Living within your means in the EPL will probably result in relegation.

I was dead level with Spittal in the POD stand. Was it KVV who passed (or Goss, canny remember) but Spittal made the run and the pass was just delayed by a step or two. Was clear from where we were sitting. Shame though, good run and cross. Canny believe some of the negativity on here man. We''ve taken what, 30 pts from 13 games ? WTF more does anyone want ? Do you think the run that say, Aberdeen have been on recently has all been Spanish style silky soccer, or have they maybe ground out most of their results ? You extrapolate even 80% of the last 13 games form over a season and where would that put us ? Get a fuckin' grip and enjoy what we've achieved since Kettlewell came in.

OK, that wasn't the best performance or result, but regardless of what anyone says about maintaining standards, that team (and manager) in 10 games, took us from what some on here described as 'certain relegation' to total safety and an away draw in what was, in reality, a virtual meaningless game. I think, rather than any negativity, a lot of credit is due to everyone for the position we found ourselves in prior to kick off last night. had that been a game we had to win to get out of the play off spot (as an exmple) then I could understand people being down about it.

Was just looking at that. I'd have liked to see Killie going down, to get rid of a plastic pitch.

One of the things i've liked about Kettlewell (and it was evident from his first interview when in interim charge for the St Mitrren game) was that he seems to have a clear plan and clear systems of preparation in place for each game. His approcah seems to indicate a high level of organisation.

That really makes no sense. I could see it being possible if KVV was out of contract, but he's not.

Have I missed something ? Is KVV not contracted until the end of next season ? All this talk of clubs like Aberdeen forking a transfer fee for him are ludicrous, no ? I can imagine if the right offer came along, we might let him go, but surely it'll be on our terms.
