  1. My wee boy is 5 in October, and has been going semi-regularly since the week before his 2nd birthday, a 5-0 romp over Killie in teh Malpish season. He's been to about 20/25 games over the 3 years and he is totally hooked on all things MFC and watches the whole game without a problem, I've even took him to the odd away game and he's been a mascot at home. So it really depends on the kid. We sit in the East Stand and always sit at the end of the row, so that we dont irritate anybody as he sometimes has to sit on my knee.

He's unbeaten in the league but has seen us beaten by Dundee in the cup  and Llanelli and Steaua in the Europa.

As I say he's totally hooked on MFC, even to the extent that he was nearly greeting after I suggested (in jest) that he should support somebody else after we got beat off Llanelli. Now to get cracking on his wee brother.

The kids are the future of our club, so we need to make sure they take the 'correct' path from an early age.

Do you want to stop taking him to games vs Killie? You forgot to mention that you get his maw to drop him off at the pub at 2.45pm.

  2. On the point of last minute goals AGAINST us then Kilmarnock are fucking notorious for it. I remember us pumelling them on New Years day once only for that big Kevin McGowne to score in the last minute to beat us 2-1. Fat Sally (McCoist) also scored for them that day. And then there was the game that Stevie Woods let them back into it when he whacked a clearance of Scott Leitch's arse to give Paul Wright a tap in. We then went on to absolutey dominate the second half, only to squander chance after chance and then in the last minute, they waltz up field and Christophe Cocard beat Woods at his near post to give them the points. And there's been many, many more...

    Forgot about those two!

Wright scored into Cooper end if I remember correctly. Cocard scored into the away end, think I did a wee dance on the wall after he scored!

  3. Sure you could come up with a few where your mob have done fuck all and nicked it at the death Humper, Kris Boyd made it something of an art form against us. The Baistard :P

Ok then, Mehdi scoring in the last kick of the ball last season to give us a 2-1 win, Kris Boyd scoring a free kick in 94th minute to win 1-0 and me £45 as I had him first goal at 8s, Kris Boyd score in injury time to make it 2-2.

At Rugby Park, Craig Bryson scoring in last minute to give us 1-0 win last year.

I could go on and on but I don't want to gloat!!

  4. One of my most favouritist goals ever... If only to see big Farmer Rid Face nearly exploding in the Killie dug-out. Actually enjoyed that more than a 6 or 7 nil pumping of them. Would settle for any one of those results on Sat!

Nearly as good as Rhian Dodds scoring the winner in the 94th min in 2007 to give Killie a 2-1 win, hours after I had stepped off flight from Ibiza with my Motherwell supporting chum.

Tannoy guy spitting dummy out was icing in the cake. -_-

  6. I'll be there but my brother and other folk I normally go to away games with are giving it a body swerve.

Killie got slagged on here for keeping prices at £20 for the Setanta game in March (Motherwell charged £22 for Killie fans for the Setanta game in Dec on a monday night)

But £22 on sat for a glorified friendly is a joke. I can understand that Boyle was maybe hoping for us still to be in the shit and bring a bumper crowd and therefore cash in on full prices but both sides will have a pish crowd on sat and I predict 3,500 at most.

  7. I'd be interested to know if the legroom is as bad in the main and east as it it in the Chadwick.

I can confirm it is, as I sat in Chadwick for Scotland-Estonia in 1997 and have sat in all other stands.

The West has best legroom as it wasn't redveloped and has been there for years.

  8. Did Setanta SEE the last Well/Killie game they screened!?

Not moaning tho, good we have an away game on Setanta - we have been playing better recently too. Killie should really do something with the prices for this tho to boost the attendance.

Aye, just like Motherwell did for the last game on the monday night?

I was over £20 to get in for that.

  9. I'm not that confident and our injury problems from last year seem to be reacurring.

    I'd take a draw.

Also doubt there will be much of an away crowd.

I'll be there but folk i go to game with and haven't missed a game this season are watching it in Sports Bar at Rugby Park.

£22 for a game on TV, on a monday night 10 days before Christmas is taking the piss!!
