Having watched the highlights last night, I'd be looking at the crosses being launched into the box (both from the lady hand side) before I'm blaming Samson for the goals. Far too often and too easily, are crosses coming in. And this was a criticism from last season as well.

Tend to agree with the last points from Tweed - this competition will only be slightly more important than the glamour friendlies that Celtic are playing, so they may play some fringe players. And following our capitulation there at the end of last season, McGhee and the players should be looking to a much better performance/ result. Again, it'll depend which 'Well turn up

The other thing to consider around Simo & his record - Solskjaer (sp?) had a brilliant record before coming to the EPL & it didn't work out for him. As someone mentioned earlier - all appointments have an element of risk, we just need to try & reduce that risk

Got to echo these thoughts as well. It's also refreshing to hear positive comments from a manager too. I liked McCall but a flaw in his manner was his, at times, negative outlook in certain games. Hopefully this positive attitude also rubs off on the players.

Can't see shout box on my phone, so apologies if it's there already. Caught a bit of Chick Young on the radio with a board member, didn't catch a name, talking about manager situation. Suggestion was made that Kenny Black would be an assistant to someone else & not the manager in his own right.

So if we're in fan ownership by the end of November, will fans be polled to see who gets the job? If not, how will the new man be selected?

Seem to recall a deal at Airdrie/ Livingston a few years ago now involving Stevie Archibald & loads of Spanish players. He made his money showcasing talent & selling them on - a winger to Dundee Utd then Celtic (Fernandez?) & the keeper who ended up at Celtic (Sanchez?). 6 month contract for McGhee? We were the fittest we've ever been under McGhee and played some fab football. He also played players where they should be played, if memory serves
