  1. As much as it infuriates me at times, I know that that's exactly why our players make wrong decisions. Doesn't soften the blow any tho
  2. See the 2nd goal today, why, oh why, couldn't the Humph do that when we had played Levante, rather than toe-poke a back pass to the goalie!
  3. Does the SFA/ SPL etc take notice of club's own TV coverage? It was strange that the Sportscene 'coverage' showed footage from behind the goal for a Randolph save but didn't deem it suitable to show anything about what may or not have happened between the 2 of them. Here's a controversial thought, anything at all to do with Thompson being their flavour of the month?

    Ojamaa

I'll be honest, Higgy was unable to knock balls to Henrik or anyone else, but he can't make passes if he can't get decent service. If we are going to play route 1 football then the players providing the initial passes, ie full backs or centre halves, need to be pinpoint in their passing. On Thursday night I don't recall too many accurate passes. Too often it was hit & hopes. All that does is allow fans on here to come to the conclusion that it's all Higgy fault
  5. Heard Stuart Cosgrove on Saturday say that Sandaza was offered £1300 a week to resign for St J for this season only to sign for Sevco for £13000 a week. Seriously silly, stupid money
  6. I've had a frantic text fm Tenerife asking if tonight's game is being broadcast anywhere, any help would be appreciated!
  7. Heard that this morning too & totally agree. Stuart McCall works for us now, his loyalties are to us & his 'default' comments adds yet more weight to the argument that we lie down to Rangers because of who our manager is. We haven't cheated to finish where we are, please remember who pays the wages Mr McCall
  8. as was posted earlier, can't see him being any more than a squad player at fhw. I understand the money argument but...
  9. Tough call tonight, defence was immense but in the end I went for Murphy. What a shift he put in. Also spied this description of him on the bbc The white-hot forward took one touch after good work from Humphrey and his shot flew past the helpless Lindegaard for his third goal in Europe this season and seventh overall. Who was the last well player to be described as white hot?? Magic
  10. A wonderful result tonight tho the start of the 2nd half was tough going. However all is forgiven. I'd also like to shaun hutchison too. Showed his class by clambering up to see the old guy.
  11. Paw Broon's interview in the herald sounded a tad pessimistic. And I'd agree with the earlier post by Findlay that if its not looking clever at the start of the season I could see Broon walk away. Hope I'm wrong tho
  12. Was up earlier, saw granpa broon up to oversee things! Was that Fraser in goals for us??

    Ins & Outs

Saw that allan gow has been released from his contract. Worth a punt?

    Mark Reynolds

I read somewhere recently that said Gary Kenneth was being looked at by Birmingham, at a price of more than a million. IMHO Mark's a far better player than Kenneth, who appears to be just a big bruiser! Hope he stays next season but if not, best of luck
  15. not today...Just heard that he's been dropped in favour of Stack. Gutted, why not Ma-Kalamity in stead

    In's And Out's

He's just back from a serious injury if memory serves me right. There was talk of Dundee Utd looking at last season, since Levein managed him at Cowdenbeath
  17. Slane's goal and Forbes' 2nd goal get better when seen from behind the goals. The strikes would have beaten any keeper

    Exclusive: Player #3

Have you not mixed him up with Humphreys?

    Hat-tricks

Indeed Thought that we'd be discussing the last time we saw 2 hat-tricks by different players in the same game after Forbes struck his 2nd tonight.
  20. Not sure about the fishal site but the BBC and STV news before the game said that they'd have highlights on Friday's evening news. And there were cameras behind the goal in the first half
  21. The strike was superb but the lay off from Sutton was magical. Forbes never had to break stride to connect. Exciting times to be a Well fan
  22. Was worried before i got there but once the 2nd goal went in, plain sailing. How many of the starting team are really 'in-experienced' youngsters? I counted just 3 (forbes, slane and hutchison). And some of the football tonight was superb. Loved the "Are you watching Aberdeen' shout in the 1st half
  23. Was wondering about the time out thing myself. We're knocking the ball about quite comfortably at the back. They don't look too great tbh. Plenty of possession but nothing clear cut from us yet

    Albania

Spied this on the BBC this morning from that great Albanian export http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ell/8144193.stm
