I put tons into the well society - if I was a Hearts fan - I would log in to the account and see exactly how much and like a Tesco clubcard see what benefits myself and my wee boy would be entitled too.
I haven't put anything more in for the last 18 months. Does any one care?
When do our two appointees address the Well Society that voted them in?
Would be nice to hear regularly from them - I do get a weekly newsletter asking for donations.....
Last point for discussion!
I personally know that one championship club is looking at football loving successful businessmen to get involved.
But not necessarily supporters of the club.
Must be looking at Haughey at QP model.
Question I have on this, is did they appoint everyone in the current board?
Now 75% usually appoints a board - I can tell from Companies House that Well Society has 65% +
The Memorandum and Articles I haven't read but it would be interesting to see what powers the WS really has - usually kicks in at 75.
You are not wrong - always down after a first half.
He seems to turn it around by subbing on everyone who is quoted as being a striker at the club and bypassing the midfield. It's very bizarre.
Personally I think it's two windows to shape a team considering what we lost.
I admit some bad signings - what irks me is the length of deals on players we have to bin.
I'll judge where we are in February - some tweaks and we should be ok. Fail and we are down. That is why I state this period is key.
Play the youngsters.
I actually would love that, but prepare for the championship.
If we want to change into this philosphy, then the support need to change their expectancy.
But the question remains, as it does in most football clubs nowadays, who is signing the players?
I don't doubt the manager has partial involvement but not wholly so......
We employ someone to identify players. That's their sole role.
