This forum is hard work of late. So I'll pitch in! Thought Cornelius had a nightmare against Airdrie but being pitched in at that point was probably detrimental to him. He pops up again looks decent in his more recent games and he has not shown nothing - in fact he was progressive and I enjoyed watching him. If anything chuck him in against Celtic - we have little to lose. We might get 1 mill for him plus if he turns out right. You won't get that for any others. I'm up for supporting upcoming talent. Absolutely. The way this forum is going is the pant wetters who speak the loudest win. It's very simple, we are not abysmal nor are we world beaters. We are fine enough. We lack cutting edge since we sold our top scorer as any club does. We are 4th in the league which is better than a club of our budget should be. We don't play highly attractive football yet I've seen a lot worse. There is a large amount of people on this forum that a) Only come on after a defeat. b) Have a 1 game memory span c) Can't remember some of our far more guff teams in the past. d) Have at some point said that every player in our team isn't good enough. It's a forum these guys are needed but balanced & as such just now the pant wetters seem in control.

I’ll stick to judging them when they sign. Only guy I ever berated was signing Carroll which probably taught me the line above. Leave everyone else to say Shankland’s done. There are some posts that say he may not fit into the system or that he would be too expensive but I firmly disagree he is a championship level player.

For everyone who writes off Shankland and his goal statistics, I wonder what you all said when Tony Watt signed. Might bring back some of those posts while you all hastily delete them.
