Totally disagree with the opinions on kris boyd, although don't doubt I wont be popular in saying this. One of the top scorers ever in Spl Higdon was regarded as lazy, similar to Boyd but with the correct supply both know where the goals are. The only thing is hopefully we will have the supply next season that Higdon benefited from. I remember him at Ibrox scoring a couple of real good goals against us - he definitely has the quality from distance as well. Why would you give up your season ticket for a guy with a proven track record? If it's the Rangers thing - then em Bob Malcolm played for us.

Rangers Celtic Hearts St Mirren Dundee United Aberdeen Motherwell Hibs Dunfermline Inverness Kilmarnock St Johnstone Now everybody will think I am mental putting St Mirren up there, but Carey, Thomson, Teale etc are all high quality SPL players imho. One thing is for sure I am not posting on Pie and Bovril, place would go crazy!!!

DJ JEAN - THE LAUNCH just has to be......

So what if Craig Brown knows things we don't. I bet everybody here knows of at least one thing that happens in their work that shouldn't. The fact that this happens in a Football club doesn't matter a jot ,unless illegal, but even at that how many health and safety breaches happen at most works! Bet he is glad he wasn't the Rangers manager - offshore payment to the players, sounds like just the tip of a whole lot of financial misdemeanours
-
He's picked the same line up, I would have gone for................ So this is like playing champ manager today!

Personally would rather we took a punt on a lower league player who we could have tied up for longer, with lower wage demands such as Rory McAllister, we dont always have to look towards England, when the likes of Dorrans, Griffiths, etc have never played in the SPL and have made the transistion to better leagues.

Dear MFC, Is it possible to add the fence, we used to have in the East Terrace resurrected in the East Stand. If so can we have all the moaners on, one side and people who actually want to cheer on the team on the other? If the Grella thing is enough to make someone walk away from attending games, then they need to get a grip. Also, as a general, we used to watch our teams under McLeish(2nd season), Kampman etc and even under early Tommy McLean(probably the worst of the lot) that were a lot worse than now. Bring back the fence!

Just back, Improved secong half, I dont think in general were miles away as a team, but there are certainly some weak points, that continually the play breaks down on. Strong points were Murphy, Lasley and Hutchison (he wins some amount of headers!) one mistake but not played in ages. Weak points Forbes, Humphrey and dare I say Sutton. Think Casagolda looked ok when he came on, to be honest I would play McHugh instead of Humphrey, next time out and new signing for Forbes.

Don't think ref from Edinburgh. Pretty sure from a few of my pals, he's local to me and his kid is in st xxxxxxxxxxx at the end of my street. You would presume a celtic man perhaps from that, and so you wouldn't guess at any Hearts favouritism. I just think hes generally a wee nyaff. Apparently he walks pass my house every day, but despite sitting up with my general armoury, I aint seen him yet

Yeh good point, never thought about children. Maybe a split option for shares then. Like different options to pay per month, from as low as a fiver up to whatever. I just see the excitement of things like Stirling Albion and maybe think we should be doing something in this realm without maybe going as far.
-
Perhaps this lethargy would stop, if we could own a percentage of the club and have a say in it. We might feel more involved. Say we could do a share issue £20 a month. £240 a year, 3000 hard core fans. £720000 a year. For a token shareholding say 5% This would A) Give us an involvement in the club, directly have ideas, via a spokesperson. B) The financial support would improve the quality on the park, meaning extra income for higher league position(if well spent) and more chance of success on the park. The more we get disillusioned, leads to a lack of funds, the worse it gets for MFC. Motherwell FC would have to launch this not some trust. I know its more money coming out of fans pocket, but everybody could cut back on something they like to give to something they love. Think of it as Scotlands First Football Charity! Please give generously! Maybe a bit far out, but what do you think?

I won't get the chance to go to Motherwell pre-game and Xmas night out on Friday. But on the condition that I'm not majorly fucked, can I pay at the gate, and will that be any kind of reduced price or like £22? Cheers

"McCart is not interested in a managerial role anywhere. Spoken to him at length on this subject and he was not for swaying". If he does come can he say about your conversation? "I don't want to add fuel to the fire but what I will say quite honestly is my conscience is totally clear,". "If anyone accuses me of a lack of honour or integrity I would immediately take issue with that because it's absolute nonsense. I'm allowed to change my mind.

Definitely not McGhee........ He cost our club a million pounds. He said like 'Brown' that he would stay if the board match his ambitions and that was a decision that made Reynolds not move to Rangers. I like Reynolds but I'd rather have done without, and got the million quid in and I feel that JB was forced into this by McGhee, only for McGhee to be off in a years time, and we all know what happened re Rangers. Think about it, a million quid into our club.......

Heres one from leftfield - Davie Hay thoughts?

I have gone for 2-1 to us in the old predictor. Us scoring first then a late Murphy winner. The problem for me is when Hammell comes back where does Hateley fit in? Think I would go with the usual team with Hammell in for Hateley, difficult one though

And PS if it wasn't masonic it was just plain weird

I give up, trust me when I say it was done to antagonise people, who he suspected of being Celtic fans. Within 1 minute at a Motherwell v Celtic game, he had said A) He was a loyal Rangers fan B) His favourite game was Skippy Sunday, not from any Motherwell pleasure but clearly from a Rangers and anti-Celtic viewpoint C) He had clearly demonstrated a handshake that we interpreted as being masonic. The point is if your on the door of hospitality you don't rile people you dont know. These guys reciprocate the same favour for us at Celtic and we haven't had anything like this happen to us. It is a bit embarrasing, maybe I am not explaining it well but it had to be seen to be believed. Didn't seem like Fir Park I was going into seemed like Govan. Anyway nuff said.
-
The point is not what he his but he conducted himself very badly at the recent Motherwell v Celtic game and would make me think twice re hospitality again for this game. It was a mixed crowd with jovial banter. Now this guy needs to not bring his beliefs when shaking our hands when he gets in. It is downright embarrasing for a guy at the door in hospitality to do this. Especially given the game it was a poor decision in my opinion. I hate being tarred as a team that Celtic fans perceive as being Mini Rangers, without masonic handshakes at the door. He enlightened our crowd that his favourite game was Skippy Sunday. You cant do this at hospitality bottom line, thats another x amount of income down the drain.
-
Does anyone have any info in regards to a Young Edward who deals in hospitality front door? And any idea why we have a masonic Rangers fan on the door? Dont expect to be greeted inside Fir Park with a masonic handshake.
-
We have done it purely for the conveniance - and as such some people will pay more. It is unique in the sense that you get to speak to the players, catch their mood. Only negative is being interviewed by the BBC but maybe the man in the kilt will do that again

Yeh bizarre Commsworld work in the building opposite us - who would have known

My pal stays in Trondheim, so likely will go...he is an Aberdeen fan so will be good for him to see a Scottish team in Europe
