  1. Why is this chat in the transfers thread? acn it be moved to Tartan Army?
  2. He has 'actually' signed for us and clearance granted. From the Beeb...
  3. He lost interest in being there, told the gaffer that he wanted to go back to Leeds and when he was played he put zero effort in. Had a huge fall out with the management team who swiftly told him to get tae.... If that is his attitude to a team who were trying to get him some match fitness then he can feck off.
  4. We are going to give them a right royal pumping today. 5-0
  5. Or do a pat down on them when they try to get in..
  6. Now that was a god awfull strip!
  7. Absolutley, but its up to her employer to do that.
  8. I would be telling work to shove it. If you have made official arrangements for a shift swap then its your works problem, not yours.
  9. Certainly too early to worry. a quick look back over the spl tables shows that 37 points is the most gained from any team relegated (ICT 08/09) so another 28 points should see us safe. based on that, and our teams performance, I would be happy to blood some of the youngsters this year, then go for the title next season....
  10. Any Chance of a link to said article?
  11. Official site now says 8th of October.
  12. Playing Killie? I predict rain. Anyway, the way our lads played on saturday, we could have beaten Man U. keep that up and it;s a comfortable win on saturday . 4-1 'Well.
  13. Sunderland play "Up the well"? good on them!
  14. I don't think it matters what is being played as you can't make it out anyway. As others have said, you really can't hear what the folk beside you are saying. either turn it down our don't bother at all.
  15. lets say you lived in an old house that your family had been in for around 100 years. It looks a bit odd as it's not fully finished since some neighbours at the time complained about the plans, so your family stopped building part way through. over the years new bits have been added though, so its a bit of a mish-mash of styles. it's not aging well, the roof leaks, your kitchen needs replaced, your bathroom needs replaced, and your garden needs a complete make-over every year, but with your income, you can't really afford it. If you are lucky, you might have enough cash to spend on some luxuries like food. on the other hand, your family have lived there for generations. you grew up there and have many happy memories. Your home is "quirky" and "unique", perhaps that has a certain charm to it. So the question then if it were YOU, and this was your home, would you think of selling your family home and creating a new modern living for your family, or would you continue to slog it out where you are?
  16. They ARE the best value as the quality of football talent on display is pish at the other clubs whos prices are cheaper
  17. I, like pretty much everyone else on here can't stand either of the old firm. To be fair though, on my way home on saturday night, a couple of Celtic fans stopped for a chat in centratl station, and they were actually pretty decent. I did think they were just distracting me, and i kept waiting on one of them lamping me, but it all went well. Just shows they are not all bad.
  18. My grandfather passed a few short months after the last cup win, but I know he will be watching this with us! Also, A glass raised to 'Wellard. Another well fan from this forums previous encarnation taken way too young.
  19. and if a player on the park reacts to provocation do they get off with it? no they get a red card.
  20. See to be honest, after Saturdays perfomance, I wouldn't have Maurice Ross near that right back slot in the final. Hately at right back for me.
  21. on the sfa website Here, the only mentions of scottish cup are the broadcasters (bbc & sky) and Carling. I would have thought if anyone else had the sponsorship rights, they would be listed here?
  22. Maybe not this year since it is corporate sponsored (Carling) rather than last year's scottish government sponsorship (homecoming scottish cup) I would think Carling would have paid a bit more for sponsorship than the scot gov.
