Control over tickets is difficult. I would hope however that the club has some kind of database of season ticket holders, lapsed ST holders, fans who took up European tickets etc. Add to that Trust and Supporters Association members. In my view a completely open sale would be the last resort, although it may have to come to that. Before we got to that stage, I'd hope that MFC would issue some kind of vouchers at the home games V Rangers and Kilmarnock. I'm pretty certain that all genuine Well fans will be able to get their hands on tickets. This really is where membership of the Supporters Association or Trust could come into its own for PATG fans. This was one reason why the Fife & Tayside Supporters club morphed from an informal group of friends. For those living away from Lanarkshire it can prove to be a real boon when it comes to getting tickets.

By all accounts the semi yesterday was not a sell out - some 15,00 or so short of capacity. That means that probably about half of Celtic's season ticket holders didn't attend.

Almost certainly you're right. But why should it be this way. Celtic will have far more buses coming from the west than we will. Logically, the club whose home is the westernmost of the two opponents ie Celtic should take the west end of the stadium. Thats how it was for the semi. No doubt logic won't come into it though.

Does anyone know the financial benefits to the club of a top 6 finish, a CIS Cup semi place and a Cup Final place? I would have thought something in the order of: Top 6 Finish: £ 350,000 CIS Cup Semi: £250,000 Scottish Cup Final: £600,000 In total that would add up to £1.2m but doesn't include things like hospitality or merchandising. The whole club will be buzzing for the next month or so and that can only be a good thing.

Going by the CIS Cup final 6 years ago I'd reckon about about 15,000 or slightly more. Celtic can't claim the moral high ground over the ticket split here - it was by no means a sell out today.

To whoever organised this - well done. Obviously liaising with the club was the right way to go. It certainly added to the atmosphere. Hopefully you can organise something for the big day itself! Maybe some collections at the next 2 home games? Good on you.

A great day out yesterday and a fine performance from the team. Stuart McCall got it right. A few players were obviously not 100% but we had no failures. Their midfield was combative and aggrressive but had little to offer in the way of creativitiy. I think the gulf in class showed as they had no-one to compare with Murphy, Sutton and Co. Also a tale of 2 keepers too. If we had a fault its that we defended too deeply at times and thats something we'll need to watch in the final. Still a great day for the club. Come on Ye Well!

He was not fully fit and that much was plain. Probably wouldn't have played in a run of the mill league game. Although Saints knew that they were terrified of him and put 2 players on him. That created more space for us. So in that respect he played a vaulable role.

There might be a lot of road works around Hampden just now I don't know, but we were given the same route for the CIS Cup semi against Celtic a few years ago and it was tortuous then.

Depending on precisely what was said I don't have a problem with that. If someone goes up to another and whsipers in their ear - "You're a bloody hypocrite" I wouldn't say that warranted a ban. Likewise it s very unusual for someone to be charged with breach of thre peace if they walk up to another person and whisper to them "You're a bloody liar " or some such similar insult. However its relatively common for someone to be charged after planking someone. Remember the Maurice Malpas / Jim Jeffries encounter at Rugby Park a few years ago? JJ referred, rather loudly to our lads as ****** cheats, and MM had to be restrained. I don't recall JJ being hauled over the coals by the SFA for that.

The problem is Andy there is a rush. Clubs have to make arrange,ments for hospitality, policing and the likes. How can MFC sell hospitality packages if we don't know who were playing and when?

My immediate reaction too. Maybe they were both injured? Maybe they're both different types of midfielders. If neither that must mean he's rated as being a better prospect. Both Meechan and Pollock may make the grade and I sincerely hope they do but neither has shown anything special in their admittledly limited appearances so far.
