  1. Surely you mean he asisted in 2 goals David? He didn't score at all.
  2. Of course. He hasn't played since June though.
  3. Absolutely Grizzly. As it stands Obika is out injured so that only leaves Bair. Given his injury record we can't rely on Obika. If we want to play 2 up front we may need 3 strikers but yes 2 minimum. That should be our priority of course. I'd still like a dominant central defender in the Hartley/Aldred mould though and a pacy RWB but that might be asking too much. To be even more demanding, we need incomers to hit the ground running. A big ask but we have a week to go. Saturday is another matter.
  4. Jim Gannon had no intention of staying and constantly stalled on contract talks. Apart from all the off field nonsense he wanted out. Let's put that to bed once and for all.
  5. Irrespective of which strikers we sign, we need them to be fit and hit the ground running. No point in them taking 2 months to get fit/match fit.
  6. Without another striker ready to play, we'll struggle right enough. Can't see us keeping a clean sheet.
  7. St Mirren do seem to have some cash to throw about just now.
  8. Winger or attacking centre midfield. A very good signing if he's recovered from injury. I'm not one to sign a player for the sake of it but I'd love for us to bring in a striker before the St Johnstone game.
  9. Good luck to him. Not a world beater by any stretch of the imagination, but not as bad as many made out. Irrespective of where he was played, he was a central defender, by his own admission.
  10. I don't know Grizzly, but you could try emailing the club ticketsales@perthsaints.co.uk
  11. Zak Rudden is an ex Sevco youth player who was farmed out to various teams, including St Johnstone and Falkirk. He didn't cut it at Ibrox, and was signed by Partick. He did quite well there and reportedly we were interested. He then signed for Dundee where he has been ok but no better, according to a Dundee supporting neighbour. He assesses him as being a decent Championship standard (Morton, Ayr etc) but thats it. James Scott? If money is an issue (and it might not be for all we know) then we will be bottom of the queue of the 3 other Premiership clubs mentioned. Thats, if, we are indeed interested.
  12. We scored some very good goals yesterday and that's encouraging.
  13. Started off very well when he first broke through but failed to develop. Not up to Dundee's standard apparently.
  14. Nouble? Livingston must be desperate to offload him for some reason. Why would you sell an asset to a direct rival?
  15. Fraser was always a long shot but credit to his agent for stirring the pot. Nouble? I can't see us outbidding Exeter but who knows. He is being played out of position at Livingston but his form has dropped off a cliff. Something fishy there.
  16. Alloa get their obligatory goal. Fine. Let's go on and win it now.
  17. Great post. Loans can be a short term solution to a short term problem but thats the extent of it. I think our club will have learnt this lesson now.
  18. An undisclosed fee. Dundee chucking money about again?
  19. A cut above Halliday quality wise I'd think. Will this come to anything.......we'll see.
  20. Spot on Allan. Thats all that matters to them, and teams like them.
  21. There's a lot of pressure on Nick Daws and Stuart Kettlewell right now. The club has been caught with its pants down over Biereth. We have a fortnight to bring in about 5 bodies who are not just half decent but can hit the ground running. Its a tall order. So far the quality of names being linked with us aren't inspiring (possibly Monty excepted), as Melvin has said. SK mentioned in his presser that all year long loans have recall clauses. That being the case hopefully they're not one sided i.e. Oli Shaw.
