At least they try to be sneaky about it.

Aye, very good mate. I'v been going to 'Well games for 26 years, so the decision not to return to SPL matches isn't one I've taken lightly. There has to be a point though where enough is enough. There's no way in Hell the SPL or the other member clubs of this league would react in the same forgiving way if it were the likes of Hibs, Hearts, ourselves or Dundee United who had did what Rangers did. It's simply a case of one set of rules for the big two, and another set for the rest of us. What makes it even worse is the fact that it appears that those who run the clubs who have been shafted are more than happy to aid in ensuring that we continue to get shafted. Fuck that. I'd rather walk away than waste my hard earned on a league that's pretty much rigged so that the big two succeed whilst the rest of us fight for whatever's left.

I doubt it'll have a major effect on renewals to be honest.

Give it time, Dewell. The fact that he hasn't come out immediately and said he was off (like Sutton did) means he may be considering the new contract.

I don't think we really need another forward if I'm being honest. If we manage to tie up most of the squad we currently have for next season I'll be happy with that.

Just admit that anyone who gives shit to a striker who scores the amount of goals in a season that Higdon has needs their heads examined.

The full statement for anyone who hasn't read it yet; What I read from that is the club are going to look at the situation as and when it arises, and if the loss of Rangers impacts on our finances in a negative fashion (which it will) they'll vote in favour of a NEWCO coming straight into the SPL. In my opinion Motherwell FC as a club, or Derek Weir as a member of the SPL board, will vote to keep Rangers in the SPL.

When we sign players who fit that criteria we usually spend the time that they're here talking about where they'll be moving to next. I'll take big Higdon with a goal tally of fifteen per season or more for a few years.

It may just be me, but the video is no longer playing. It's saying that embedding has been disabled by request?

Yes, I do.

Then let Killie & Hearts vote in favour of a NEWCO. All I'm looking for is some positive action from my club, something that suggests to me that they actually give a fuck about what their fanbase has to say on the matter.

I'm guessing this is Daley's make or break season. If he doesn't perform he'll be offski at the end of next season most likely.

Christ, at least we could have offered him European football and the prospect of challenging for Europe again next season. What can Aberdeen offer? A bit more cash and the chance to challenge for 7th?

Nice one. A local match during what should hopefully be a sunny day.

Feel free to jump into the 2012/13 ins & outs thread and join the already over the top McFadden discussion.

Despite those involved telling you repeatedly that they aren't "boycotting" or "protesting" you go on ahead with your hilarious banter.

You do know that makes you less of a fan than those who buy a season ticket, right? Your opinions on this forum will therefore be less valid.

Yeah, as I mentioned in another thread, this isn't a protest. At least not on my part. It's simply a case of waiting to see if the SPL is actually worth spending my hard earned cash on. If it turns out that special rules and allowances are made to certain clubs, then I'm done with it. I'll be there for our cup games and European games obviously, but the SPL league campaign will have lost its integrity in my eyes.

I'll tell you what, if he did fancy a move to the likes of Celtic he could do worse than play with us for six months or so in order to prove his fitness. At this moment in time I don't see any big club taking a risk on him.

Let me get this straight, MJC, are you saying that McFadden won't be coming back to us this summer? In the next few years? Or ever? Only a complete fucking idiot would state flat out that there's no chance of him ever coming back to play for Motherwell.

There's no point in arguing, Jim. MJC has a history of making ridiculous claims and predictions.

What reason did he have for investing in the Well society? Maybe he has a soft spot for the club. Did you ever think of that? I think there's a better than average chance that he'll finish his career at Fir Park.

I wouldn't be so sure about that to be honest. I don't think he'll be back at Fir Park playing for us anytime soon, but I wouldn't bet against him coming back later on down the road.
