  1. Of course they wouldn't, and nor should they. Such a plan would have to be well thought-out, and would have to take into consideration the punters who currently reside in the area to be converted.
  2. 2-0 down within half an hour. Not the best of starts

I'm surprised they still let you into the stadium, Joe

The Steel membership is probably as far as I could push it at the moment. Hoping to do my bit though.
  5. A harsh decision by the SFA in my opinion. A one match ban would have been more acceptable.
  6. Considering it's a game against one of our rivals for 3rd place I would think it's a decent deal for any fan who can get along. If I could go I certainly would.
  7. Surely we have to appeal this? A two match ban for touching Goodwin on the face? How does that rank alongside an actual punch to the stomach?
  8. Pretty much what Cakes said. Just remember that whoever you vote for 1st in each category will get 3 points, your second nomination gets 2 points and so on. You don't have to nominate three folk for each award though.
  9. I don't think we can maintain our away form throughout the rest of the season though. We've been quite lucky thus far regarding suspensions & injuries, but that'll change at some point. The size of our squad will come into play eventually this season. I just hope that when it does, we haven't thrown away too many home points against the likes of Kilmarnock & St Mirren. Saying that, if we beat Hearts on Saturday I should be resting somewhat easier
  10. Can non-supporter association members use the buses? Or do you have to join?
  11. Right, now is the chance to recognise the very best (and worst) that this forum has had to offer over the past 12 months. Everyone can vote for up to three forum members for each category. Your first place nomination gets 3 points, 2nd place 2 points, and 3rd place 1 point. After voting closes I'll tally up the totals and we'll see who our winners are. Voting will close at some point on January 1st. 12. Hopefully no more snow tonight. I'm looking forward to a 3pm kick-off tomorrow.
  13. I disagree. We need to win games at home against sides like St Mirren if we want to finish 3rd. We may be seven points clear at the moment, but it's only December. We will lose games along the way, and wins against the lower league sides are vital, especially at home. I would view anything other than a win on Saturday as points lost and a disappointment.
  14. If we're serious about challenging for 3rd this season, games against the likes of St Mirren at home are ones we simply have to win. Be it a great performance and a 3-0 win, or a piss poor showing and a 1-0 win, we need the 3 points.
  15. The fact that I never got a voucher (later heard that there was one girl handing them out to anyone who asked, and giving multiple vouchers to one person on most occasions) is not my fault though, is it? It was bad organisation by the club, and as such it should be them who sort it out. I'll be going to the replay with my season ticket, and I'll expect to get in without problem.
  16. A dip in form and a run of bad results was always on the cards, especially considering the size of our squad. We've been playing less than great yet still getting results. If we can continue doing that until Lasley returns, Hughes hits full fitness and Murphy sorts himself out we'll be doing just fine. A Europa league spot is still the aim, and we're on course for just that.
  17. Me neither. If I show up for the replay and my season ticket isn't enough to get me into the game there'll be hell to pay. Unless they reschedule for a pissy Friday night, in which case they can forget it.
  18. I'm hoping the weather has improved slightly by Friday night, although I doubt it will have. A scrappy, unpleasant affair, with us winning 2-1.
  19. Christ, how did he get landed with that gig?
  20. Is that one of those rare instances caught on camera? A steward actually doing his job! He appears to be watching the crowd, keeping an eye on things in case anyone needs help! I see people standing! Yet he remains in his position!
  21. It'll be interesting to see if the attendances at these Friday night games will be wheeled out without mention of the freebies involved. Didn't Aberdeen play a Friday night game? Did anything similar happen there regarding ticket pricing and the like?
  22. At present they show highlights of all of our games after they've been played. They seem to have the goals from our games before the BBC highlights go up as well, which is quite good.
  23. The current memorial is fine in my eyes, but if the club themselves wnated to put up a statue at the front of the O'Donnell stand I doubt there'd be too many complaints.
  24. I think if it delivers what the family were looking for you can't really ask for much more. Well done to all involved.
  25. An advocate of the Socialist Premier League then?
