I have one for the East which I'd swap for the Main stand. If you're interested fire me a PM. Yeah, the vouchers have the stands marked on them.

Whilst it's important not to put too much pressure on the lad, it does look as though he's going to be a decent addition to the squad. The fact that he's on a long-term contract makes it all the sweeter. Superb business done by the club on this occasion. I half-feared that he would have been snapped up at the last minute by Aberdeen!

Why were you having a go at them if the police were already there?

The link is asking for a username & password?

I know this is probably posted somewhere already, but what time does the ticket office shut during the week? And what time will it open & close this weekend considering the fact we're playing away?

A home game against either Aberdeen or Queen Of The South. Not too bad.

How long was McCall's initial contract with us anyway?

I never said that he would make up for the departure of Murphy, simply that having him in the squad will lessen the blow somewhat. I have no doubt that Murphy going will see us needing another forward though.

I agree. Not everyone has that kind of money to give away, especially in this financial climate. If it's a choice between getting a season ticket or paying into this, I know what option I'll be going for.

The fact that he's on a two and a half year deal makes it all the sweeter. The inevitable loss of Murphy in the summer won't be as harsh a blow now.

Suits me just fine as well.

When you compare the set-up to MOTD, and even any of the generic football shows on ESPN it really is cringeworthy.

Aye, Sportscene has been a joke for years now. You're much better off using MFCTV & BBC to watch the highlights.

Hatelely straight from a corner?

Exactly. When I heard the figure of £250,000 being accepted by the club I was pretty horrified to be honest.

We see the visit of Morton in the cup this weekend, with us pretty big favourites to go through I'd reckon. What do we think about team selection? Do we drop a few first team regulars in preparation for the away game at St Mirren the following week? Or go with our full strength team?

The thing that doesn't sit well with me is that virtually everyone else is answerable for their actions during a football game except a referee. That penalty decision was blatantly wrong yet there will likely be no action taken. These idiots had a cheek to ask for a pay rise at the beginning of the season as well!

You certainly have a suitable avatar, don't you?

Any word on why the audio in interviews only comes through one speaker?

I've said it before already, and I'll say it again, Higdon should have reserved his show of defiance for the fuckwits who heckle him at Fir Park. The travelling support usually gets behind the players, and they pay good fucking money to go to places like Dundee and get treated like cattle by the stewards there. Bad form for Higdon to choose the away support for his gesture.

From what I've seen this season Higdon gets no support from any referee. He's constantly being pulled up for nothing, and when a defender does come through the back of him he gets nothing. Was it the same at St Mirren?

To think as well, we could have had Dougie Imrie on a fraction of the wage probably

I personally think Forbes is a good player, but the problem is he simply isn't getting into our midfield at present. Who does he replace? I'd be happy to see him go out on loan for a while, then once one of our midfielders moves on or whatever he should be given a chance to prove he's up to the job. A chance that should involve being given more than 45 minutes or one game to prove himself. A player needs a run of games to get into his stride, and I think Forbes should be given that eventually.

Although I'd personally bring in Ojamaa to replace Murphy I have a feeling that McCall will drop Daley. I guess that Murphy is capable of coming up with something special, so it may be a decent move.

He would maybe have been better served to keep his "reaction" for his next goal at Fir Park though. The away support has been pretty supportive of both him & the team in general, no?
