  1. Results like this happen every now & then, and don't really mean much in the grand scheme of things. We've got Dundee United away next, whilst Killie face Celtic, so I fully expect them to take nothing from the game, whilst we could realistically hope for a point at least. That would see us two points behind Killie by the time we meet at Fir Park. A win there sees us leapfrog them into 5th. Last game of the season sees us more than likely lose to Celtic, whilst Killie will likely lose to Rangers. 5th place cemented
  2. Their patter is laughable. I wouldn't even bother reading their nonsense.
  3. I don't think there'll be any in place for Monday.
  4. I would certainly hope so. Not sure what time the ticket office opens at right enough. I'd guess around 9ish.
  5. After a quick look it's the usual line-up of "mini-h**s" patter, and the usual tactic of referring to anyone who talks common sense (ie; not backing Celtic in this case) as "Billy" and so forth. Hilarious stuff
  6. I'm not quite sure if it's the same now, but when I had a season ticket for the east a few years back I would tend to sit with my mates during games that didn't involve the Old Firm, which meant pretty much wherever suited on the day. Two of us had season tickets then, and if it was only the two of us we would sit in our allocated seats, and if more mates were there then we'd sit wherever. Sometimes we'd even switch ends at half time to follow where Motherwell were shooting.

    Cup Final Tickets

Any idea of the opening times? 9am I'm presuming?
  8. There's already a thread discussing buses.
  9. It's pretty self-explanatory really; If you have over 50 posts and registered with the forum before December 2010 then PM a mod or admin for the password and see for yourself.

I hope one of those cats isn't my Rangers supporting namesake, is it?

    Cup Final Tickets

I doubt anyone who wasn't getting a season ticket for next season in the first place will have their minds changed by this. What it may do though, is encourage those who were seriously thinking about it (me for example) to buy one this week. Just for the record, I'm taking an extra two tickets. One to the left of me for sitting my jacket on, and one to the right for sitting my over-priced cola & chips on

    Cup Final Tickets

There's a simple solution to anyone wanting to get a ticket. Go down to the ticket office on Monday and buy a season ticket if you don't have one already.
  13. A win or draw against Rangers will go towards helping us in two ways. Obviously it'll provide points in the campaign to climb up the league table, but it'll also help to take Rangers out of the title race which will ensure that we see European action next season regardless of the cup final result.

    Cup Final Tickets

Nah, I doubt there'll be many people that desperate to see the cup final that they'll pay another few hundred quid for a season ticket on Monday.

    Cup Final Tickets

According to the club season tickets for next season go on sale this Monday, at the same time as the cup final tickets which means you'll be abel to pick up your new season ticket allong with your allocation of 4 cup final tickets.
  16. In the middle of cup final fever it's easy to forget that we still have a handful of league games left, including the visit of the blue bigot brothers this Saturday. Now, putting the boot into the Old Firm's title hopes is always something that I enjoy, even if I do just want the season to end so we can get to cup final day! I'm going to go with a draw for this one. I can see us getting a goal or two, and Rangers doing the same.

    Cup Final Tickets

Aye, four tickets could cost over a hundred notes, and I doubt every season ticket holder will be willing to shell that out, or have three mates who are wanting to do so. If the club go down the route of a general sale instead of a ballot I think everyone will be fine.

    Cup Final Tickets

How is this ballot shite going to work though? If you have to get a ticket via a draw then you'll likely not be sitting next to your mates etc. What's wrong with general sale after the season ticket sales?

    Cup Final Tickets

Typical nonsense from the SFA, shafting the so-called wee team in favour of the bigot brothers.

I think the issue really picked up pace when Leeanne posted earlier mentioning a ballot etc.

    Cup Final Tickets

That's understandable though, as ASDA is empty and easier to get round quickly if you go when Motherwell are playing a semi-final!

    Cup Final Tickets

Wouldn't we be hoping that a percentage of these "day trippers" who come to the final maybe end up coming to Fir Park next season on the back of a cup win? Espceially the younger members of the crowd? The fact is, anyone who comes through those gates at Hampden to support Motherwell should be given the same respect as the fan who sits through the games on a cold, wet Wednesday night in Inverness. We need to encourage more fans to get involved, not label them day trippers and tourists.

    Well said Steve, excellent post.

    Cup Final Tickets

Nah, it's the national cup final, so it should be split 50/50 regardless of who get's to the final. We shouldn't be penalised for our lack of sectarian marketability.
