  1. The officiating has been appalling from what I've heard on the MFCTV commentary.
  2. Any idea what's going on at Pittodrie today? The MFCTV commentary have kind of brushed it off as nothing?
  3. That's not good news, but I guess we now have Hughes as cover. I wonder if he's match-fit?
  4. Two pages of feedback and no response from the Advisory Committee?
  5. I like the sound of that. Murphy is due to give someone a right roasting, and Aberdeen are as good a team as any to do it to.
  6. With the pesky international friendly out of the way we can now look forward to this game proper. I still think our performance against Celtic gives us the confidence to take all three points from this one. I'll go for a 2-1 scoreline, with Higdon scoring.
  7. That's why I was asking if they used Paypal. You can cancel that from the paypal home page.
  8. Hasn't he been in the Ireland squad before? Pleased for him, even if that means he's now officially "Celtic minded", which may prompt some interest from the east end of Glasgow.
  9. I'm just saying. I know a guy who got himself & his son into the main stand Celtic end for just over thirty notes.
  10. We aren't getting £20 for each of them though. The main stand housed a lot of adult & child ticket specials if what I'm hearing is correct.
  11. Bathgate y'say? I'll be keeping my time & money for the Scotland game in the evening then. Will catch the highlights on MFCTV
  12. Every fan wasn't paying £22 to get in their side of the Main Stand, were they? Didn't they have concessions and so forth?
  13. I agree Weeyin. I'd rather see us take a slight hit in revenue to the benefit of our own fanbase in this instance. It's not always about the bottom line, especially when it's something that clearly doesn't sit well with a lot of our fans.
  14. Does anyone know how many of them were actually in the main stand? Roughly?
  15. In an ideal world, yes, but money talks and the club won't be willing to give up that revenue, even if it does inconvenience our own fans.
  16. I wonder what the chances are of Hughes being signed up on a short-term deal by this game are?
  17. Oh, I wouldn't be happy with it, but if it had to happen I guess I'd have to live with it. The club may eventually go with relocating the fans in the Cooper though, so let's just wait & see
  18. In the end we were undone by a piece of skill from McCourt, simple as that. He's an impact player and he earned his wages on Sunday. An excellent performance from our lads, and hopefully we can spring on and take at least four points from our next six.
  19. I sit in the east, but would gladly take a seat in the main for the visit of the Old Firm if it helped makes matters easier. Not sure how many of my fellow east stand-ers would agree though.
  20. I've laughably seen it said that Celtic fans using this phrase is supposed to be like black people using the 'N' word. Basically, if they use it, it's okay. If anyone else uses it, it's not.
  21. I've heard this from numerous Celtic fans today. I wonder what they expect us to do? Just stand back and give them space to play? Our two central midfielders put down their markers with hard, but fair, tackles early on. Forrest started bright and disappeared once he'd been put on his arse a few times. Job done in my opinion. I've heard Lasley being singled out for particularly harsh treatment from them. I personally thought he was all over the park yesterday, winning tackles and making sure that Celtic got zero space to play. I'd be willing to wager that Celtic would be in a better position if they had a few players with the committment of Lasley & Jennings.
  22. I know we have an international weekend before this game, but I thought we could get the discussion started early anyway. After yesterdays game with Celtic I have to say that I'm more than confident that we can come away from this game with at least a point. I doubt McCall makes any changes unless he's forced to through injury, so we should only really see Clancy drop out through suspension. Hutch should be good to come in though, so there isn't too much to worry about. Apart from that, I'd go with the same line-up as yesterday.
