  1. If we're serious about challenging for 3rd this season, games against the likes of St Mirren at home are ones we simply have to win. Be it a great performance and a 3-0 win, or a piss poor showing and a 1-0 win, we need the 3 points.
  2. The fact that I never got a voucher (later heard that there was one girl handing them out to anyone who asked, and giving multiple vouchers to one person on most occasions) is not my fault though, is it? It was bad organisation by the club, and as such it should be them who sort it out. I'll be going to the replay with my season ticket, and I'll expect to get in without problem.
  3. A dip in form and a run of bad results was always on the cards, especially considering the size of our squad. We've been playing less than great yet still getting results. If we can continue doing that until Lasley returns, Hughes hits full fitness and Murphy sorts himself out we'll be doing just fine. A Europa league spot is still the aim, and we're on course for just that.
  4. Me neither. If I show up for the replay and my season ticket isn't enough to get me into the game there'll be hell to pay. Unless they reschedule for a pissy Friday night, in which case they can forget it.
  5. I'm hoping the weather has improved slightly by Friday night, although I doubt it will have. A scrappy, unpleasant affair, with us winning 2-1.
  6. Christ, how did he get landed with that gig?
  7. Is that one of those rare instances caught on camera? A steward actually doing his job! He appears to be watching the crowd, keeping an eye on things in case anyone needs help! I see people standing! Yet he remains in his position!
  8. It'll be interesting to see if the attendances at these Friday night games will be wheeled out without mention of the freebies involved. Didn't Aberdeen play a Friday night game? Did anything similar happen there regarding ticket pricing and the like?
  9. At present they show highlights of all of our games after they've been played. They seem to have the goals from our games before the BBC highlights go up as well, which is quite good.
  10. The current memorial is fine in my eyes, but if the club themselves wnated to put up a statue at the front of the O'Donnell stand I doubt there'd be too many complaints.
  11. I think if it delivers what the family were looking for you can't really ask for much more. Well done to all involved.
  12. An advocate of the Socialist Premier League then?
  13. I have to say that I've found the service to be pretty excellent thus far. I've had zero problems with any videos or audio.
  14. That would be quite cool actually. Would be good if someone could get them made up in bulk and sold them or something.
  15. Between £10-£15 for adults seems like a fair price to me, and a fiver for under 16's. I'm not sure if that will see attendances rise considerably mind you, but there you go...
  16. That may be true, but this campaign is specifically addressing the proposed bill by the SNP.
  17. I may have missed something here, but isn't this campaign about opposing the new legislation that the SNP Government are trying to force through? I never knew it was a campaign against laws that are currently in place (and perfectly adequate in my opinion)? No one is complaining about the powers that the police currently have to combat sectarianism, they're complaining about a draconian piece of legislation that will see football fans up & down the country hit with ridiculous charges for next to nothing.
  18. There's already sufficient laws in place to combat any sectarian problem our game has. We don't need new laws, we need the authorities to grow balls and use the powers they have already to deal with sectarianism.
  19. If anyone here is looking for a free ticket, I may still have mines. Will know for sure by Wednesday.
  20. I wonder if they'll break with the habit and not make moves for McCall if & when Brown gets his P45
  21. You think this campaign, and others like it, are point scoring exercises against the SNP? What would be the basis for such actions? Are we all Labour Party members?
  22. Coming back with the Old Firm example would be "fucking ridiculous" if it weren't actually true. This isn't an opinion held by a few bitter 'Well fans because their friends got tossed out of the game against Aberdeen, it's a fact that's been proven by photographic evidence and that has been mentioned by fans of non-Old Firm clubs up & down the country. As much as you're allowed to point towards the rules, others are also allowed to point out that those same rules aren't been upheld in all instances.
  23. Exactly. I live in hope that such actions eventually lead to a serious debate over the idea of standing sections at football. The harsh truth is, if everyone obeyed the rules and stayed in their seats the powers that be would point to that as an example of there being no need for such a facility at the games. As long as the fans in question are posing no threat to fellow supporters I can't really see why any right-minded fan would be against them to be honest.
  24. You should have known that there's no place for dancing at a gig in our modern, safe society.
  25. Ha Ha! The mascot from Mexico '86! That brings back memories!
