I just think they gambled on the injury clearing up, they were wrong, he then needed the procedure, he would therefore be absent now regardless of the pre-season format. I agree that the LC has altered our training and preperation but that is for us to find a solution as we get used to the new timings.

He also trapped the ball in the six yard box instead of scoring, and stepped out of a tackle which allowed the build up to their goal. But my point was about the team's passing which should be one of the easiest skills they possess. As a minimum find your man, with a bit of effort place it into their stride and certainly not behind them. Skippy and Ainsworth aren't good at that stuff.

If Skippy and Ainsworth could pass the ball accurately we would be a potent force.
