Just worked out some speculative scores for these last games and we go into the split in 2nd then ICT, Utd, St J, Hibs Could be oh so different tho

So how many has he scored this season? A bbc report quotes 18, a stats site I looked at quotes 19, and people on here are saying 20. I haven't gone back and counted.

The smoke bombs did not add to the atmosphere, they just caused a reduction of visibility, a terrible smell and attracted the attention of the stewards. The singing added to the atmosphere, the smoke bombs were an own goal. Although I never saw that one was thrown at a steward I thought they were each let off within the crowd.

I can understand McFadden and Fitzpatrick (out of contact) and O'Brien (visiting family?), but why would Slane be training with us?

Against St Johnstone he made a great run with the ball right down the middle of the park from left back, if Murphy had played the 1--2 he would have tapped it in from the six yard box (Murphy put it narrowly wide). The exposure he is getting to the first team can only make him a better player and if he continues to progress I would have no issues with him as a regular.

That stats website that was posted tells me that we haven't lost a league game that we have scored in but equally we have had to score 2 goals at least to win any game. Interesting.

Also, can we not teach our players to pass a ball in front of their team mates so they don't have to turn back for it, the messing about at the back wouldn't need to happen if the ball was played such that each players first movement was forward and not backward (giving time to be closed down)

I think he is a fine defender, could improve his crossing though - you need to think how bad the others are given that he takes all the free kicks

There have been many a worse game than that down the years

Also, as many of our corners ARE hit beyond the far post, why not put someone out there to nod it back in, I thought I saw McCall signalling that to Murphy but he just shrugged.

Hately is not rubbish, he is a good right back, agree he doesn't need to take all the set pieces tho. His cross for Murphy in the first half should have been put away.

Ojamaa is not always effective but his energy is the best bit about the team at the moment. Would also be happier to see the set pieces spread around the team a bit. On another note, who is on penalties now?

If Carswell came in Humphrey would drop out, then he could be used as an impact sub after 60 minutes against a tiring defence. Its not a bad idea to have a potential game changer on the bench, don't think we do at the moment
