I really cant see how this Dec business can be true. If he is at the madam, surely the club just strip the guy of the captaincy. No need to sack him, if he chooses not to play again then its on him. Removing the arm band pretty much tells everyone what has happened. That hasnt be done. No-one at the club has spoken out against him which i find hard to believe would be the case if he was at it. What is a long term option at Motherwell? If they are really good then they will get moved on like Kipre and probably Dec. If they are really shite they will get punted like Straker. Does a long term option mean we have to accept some kind of mediocrity such as Grimy or Dunne had he not got injured?

Given the way the gaffer spoke yesterday about Campbells professionalism and the need to put Motherwell first at the moment, I don;t get the impression that he will suffer fools gladly. If Dec or anyone else was fannying about, i reckon it would get dealt with quite sharpish.

If your in the lower leagues the chances of you being able to attract players decent enough to enjoy the football and get you to cup finals are far reduced. I watched their game lastnight, it was a pretty good game of football to watch from a couldn't really care who wins perspective. Turnbull played excellent, standout performer.
