  1. I remember speaking to McMannus not long after he left us to take up his position at Celtic, he was saying much the same and singing Robbo's praises. At that time it was just after the half season of pish before he discovered playing the boys actually worked. I thought big Mic was off his head but Robbo certainly turned things around. I would give him a 7 out of 10 rating, but i do think and hope we can see even more from him.

I for one am glad that Steelboy has taken up his post as infectious diseases expert. I'm sure we will all be able to sleep soundly.
  3. The guys that we (company I work for) have furloughed, have been encouraged to undertake training tasks and personal development. We can't force them and we can't have them doing chargeable work but we can and do keep in touch. I would expect having the players keep themselves fit and then having regular discussions with the coaches is entirely fine as per the rules of furlough.
  4. Well that fairly brightened up my morning!!

I'll be renewing - haven't been punted, forlowed or put on reduced hours yet so will probably just buy it outright at first opportunity. I expect there will be a big chunk of fans renewing regardless of what we know about next season, there will be people who can't financially justify it right now, and then probably a smaller handful who won't buy one and want their money back for the last few games of this season. Each to their own. Everyone has their own circumstances.
  6. Italy, Spain, Germany, England and now Scottish football custodians. You are doing it wrong, you need to listen to a walloper on the internets.......
  7. How much are these shysters expecting us to pay to watch us play against complete diddies on a joke of a pitch in brutal conditions? Trying to work out if i should walk down the hill& put myself through it or find a more comfortable activity.
  8. Wireless says hes got flu. Incidentally, Radio Scotland is all us tonight. Big features, burrows, look back at 91. Nice to hear rather than the usual old firm& aberdeen shite. Bit of a worry that they seem to have forgotten our opposition tonight.
  9. Saturday, whilst wild and torrential at least had warm air. That wind right now will cut you in two. Its a proper wrap up in 15 layers night tonight. As long as we are still in the cup by the end of the evening however, who gives a fuck.....
  10. Doubt anyone will buy him after 20 minutes gametime in a season that was written off with a knee injury. May be no bad thing because then we will probably get to enjoy him playing for us till next January.
  11. Campbell for me. Scott started like a bat out of hell, but it didnt last/hibs nullifiee him. Wee Campbell bossed it the full match
  12. Anytime i want to see the fixtures on the official site i get the white page on my phone. I usually just leave it in the background& look at something else for a few minutes& when i go back to that tab, its there. A real pain in the arse for when the wife wants to know if she can do x,y,z on a Saturday a few weeks later.
  13. He got that just for leathering Yodo in Edinburgh last week
  14. Did they not win it at a canter as well with a good few games to spare?
  15. Surely after Dom Thomas and Steven Lawless scored against us in consecutive games a few weeks ago, he can't trot that one out for a wee while........
  16. He's at the gym all the time at the moment, obviously thats no indication on being match fit or even ready to kick a ball, but he has been doing a fair bit of fitness in his own time from what I have seen.
  17. No idea what Robinson gets paid but mcghee was an established manager and got a few pay rises to stay with us i believe. I doubt we paid Barraclough and now Robbo £150k although i could be very wrong. I expected him to be on much closer to a normal wage.
  18. Depends how much ££££ he is offered. I dont know the guy but most people have a price
  19. Yea, I have never heard any of that either. I had always assumed that we learnt our lessons from admin and were never likely to get ourselves into such a situation again.
  20. I would be quite disappointed to lose him at this stage. Last January after that cup exit I was ready to drive him to the airport myself, but the way he changed the tactics and kicked on, has then built another new team and has us up at the top end of the table, despite some obvious deficiencies on the park, its been quite impressive. I think there is much more to come from this team and if we can get Turnbull back (playing for us) I expect the team to really kick into gear in the new year. A new manager might not get that.......
  21. Looking forward to this but really no idea how it will pan out. We are in good form and them not so much. Im usually a 'happy clapper' but my feelimgs this season are more that we have been winning due to being less pish than the opposition. Our defence has looked very ropey from time to time, if we come up against a team with some creativity up front we could be in bother. Saying that, i doubt Aberdeen are that team
