^Got to agree with Dodge there, Hutchy did press forward into advanced positions to try and make it happen. At one point he was playing right wing and Humphrey took the ball off him to cross it miles to deep. Hutchy should have just done it himself. In injury time, he moved himself up to centre forward. It didnt do any good, but he was showing the sort of fight we need.

Butcher had his Motherwell team giving their all in every game. Would you rather be fannying about at the bottom of the league avoiding relegation on a technicality, or competing every season for European places? Also, should we get rid of McCall for finishing - Cup Final, 3rd, and now sitting 3rd in the league, do we turn into Chelsea and tell the new man his remit and the only way to continue in the job is to win the league??

Thought the first 15mins we looked really good. Springing attacks at Aberdeen from all areas of the park. Then it all went wrong. In the space of 4 days we have forgotten how to shoot. I think their keepers first save was on 78minutes. Not good enough Motherwell!! Maybe its just me, but i thought Higgy had a good game. Costs us at least a goal a game Hutchy had a few brain farts but showed some fight and kept trying to get involved further& further up the park. Lasley, Carswell& Murphy anonymous Humphrey had another decent game though Aberdeen were doubling up on him. Randolph, thank fuck we have him. Easy our MOTM, probably stopped it being 5-1! I've actually said a few times recently that big Randolph should be considered for regular penalty duties. Even if the opposition keeper got in the way of the ball, he would probably be in the back of the net with it. Im pretty sure there is a few examples of keepers in various parts of the world being the designated penalty taker.
