  1. At the end of the day, £300 season ticket and another £300 for the society is still a gaping hole that some will simply not be able to afford and or justify to themselves or wifes/dependants. Hopefully there will be enough people who are in a place that they can cover the cost and give the club the investment required. I just hope we don't see another version of the im a better supporter than you arguament because 'I've got a season ticket/ go to away matches/ have paid into the 'well society!'
  2. ^ I think it is do-able, just not at a time when the world economy is as tits up as it is!
  3. Natalie sawyers bangers are looking quite impressive in that yellow dress!
  4. I like the idea, but i just think that its really the wrong time to go seeking that sort of investment from the fans. If we can hold it together for another 5 years, the world will hopefully have recovered a bit. Anyway, ins&outs thread, hope we keep the hatches battened down for another 15mins
  5. agree with the sentiment, just hope it doesnt turn out to be premature. Still got a couple of hours to go
  6. No tweets fae hutchy today, hope he's not down at the watford game....
  7. Would like to think we only have to acept 1 of our players leaving and the money gained will be enough for the club to tell everyone else to fuck right off. Losing 1 of Murphy, Hutch, Ranz would be far from ideal, if the club have to bend over and take it up the arse for all 3 of them then we really are in a bad way!
  8. Yep, Im with you there. But at the end of the day, how happy is Hutch going to be if he could get 3+ times his salary somewhere else and we put the blockers on it?? Im resigned to losing the big man at some point, hopefully not today though!
  9. Jamie Murphy has been far from his best this season IMO, but Motherwell should chase anyone that only offers £250k. Clarkson? where would we play him? Wouldn't put him infront of Higgy or Ojamma personally. I suppose he might win us some penalties when the Clarkson sniper shows up.

I don't think so. He's proved he is a valuable addition to the team, two years seems more than reasonable.
  11. The thread won't die, give it another month or so until we have 3 bad games in a row or one humping off Rangers and it'l be back. Lets hope we can resurrect it in June when we are celebrating 3rd place finish and a cup final win!
  12. Broadfoots full of shite, no question. Its just a personal beef I have with this country that the minute someone does/says anything that may offend anyone they have to be sacked! As much as I didn't agree with Sep Blatter and his comments recently, (totally out of order) I did have a sly chuckle that the 'British sack him' brigadde, couldn't make it happen!
  13. And here I thought it was only Celtic fans who were offended by everything. I don't agree with Broadfoot and his comments and I do think he was towing the party line but...... The guy said, 'gies fucking peace' Hardly the crime of the century! Away and write letters to the BBC complaining about Jeremy Clarkson while you are at it!
  14. Randz. No chance for the 1st& cant really expect to save pens. Everything else he dealt with including some top drawer saves. Won us the 3 points in my opinion

Encouraging words from mccall on radio scotland tonight. Asked if we were working behind the scenes in getting a deal for the wee man, he said of course!
  16. I would play wingers every week if they could deliver. Lets face it, he's never going to be davey cooper, but then youv never seen cooper play! :-(
  17. if you go to games regularly you can see daley is far superior footballer. Dont get me wrong, i do think humphrey has a lot to offer our squad, on his game he can be devastating, but you cant rely on that 1 game in 10. Hes an impact player, an indulgence to use against tired defenders. Not an automatic first teamer. IMO
  18. On tuesday humphrey deserves credit for being in the right place& taking his goal no doubt. Apart from that, he didnt do snything else good, infact literally 30 seconds before his goal he got a bollocking off jeno for fannying about& not marking his man. He certainly didnt do enough to get back in the team in my opinion, saying that i wouldnt have daley straight back in either. Still stand by my opinion that daley is s far superior player to humphrey.
  19. You loved daley a few weeks ago, whats triggered the hate? The fact he's got a football brain to go with his pace& shows your boy up everytime??
  20. Agree that he would recieve a ban. Don't think it would be fair though
  21. Hugh Dallas sent an email about the pope using his work email address. Not in any way, shape or form comparable. Sorry.
  22. See, I agree that he's talking shite and is quite probably towing the party line, but really was he that bad a journalist? Are you sure your not mixing him up with Daryl King? I think, that Broadfoot managed to become chief football writer at the Herald at the age of 28. Thats not too shabby an achievment. Granted the standard of journalism is poor in this country, but he was much better than some of those who write in the red tops. *Still a c**t though, obviously!
  23. I don't really like or agree with some of the tweets, but I don't think we should be getting up in arms that Broadfoot tweated x y and z. If he had done it from the SFA twitter feed then yes, but from his own personal account then its his opinion and to be honest, he's surely entitiled to one. Lets not forget that pretty much everyone who works for a media agency always has the disclaimer these views are my own and not those of the 'add appropriate organisation.'
