If we can somehow get £1.5million for this athlete (note he's an athlete not a footballer) that will be phenomenal and by far the best thing Humphrey has done for the club in his Motherwell career. Now don't get me wrong, there have been the odd games where he gets stuck in and things go for him. If we could get that level of performance from him every week then he would be one of the fans favourites. Sadly, I've only seen once this season! Not good enough Im afraid.

I would really like to think that if the club got wind that someone was willing to pay £600k for one of our most saleable assets, they would let it be common knowledge in the transfer window and generate an auction rather than shoot our load at the first offer! Whether or not postiejims source is accurate, I would really hope the club don't make any quick decisions on sales until they see where we sit in the league come the turn of the year and the situation at Rangers. I think Albi does have a point, that it's not too far a leap (rightly or wrongly) for over zealus security to link 'young guys with flags and drum' with last seasons 'young guys with smoke bombs.' It would certainly be a reasonably defendable position for the security guard in question to put forward.
