  1. I stopped watching soccer am a few years ago (because it's pish!). However I watched it on Saturday and enjoyed the 'well fans sections. Well done guys, except at the shooting game at the end where you were shite!
  2. On the contrary, I would love it if we could get Forbes performing the way he was at the start of Gannons era!
  3. I agree, I thought Hutchy looked a class above, right from the start. Lets hope he can get fit and into our first team!
  4. Don't know about that. I live less than 5 miles away and at 9am this morning the snow was very heavy, pretty much white-out conditions as the gritters etc hadn't made it up here at that point. If it had of carried on that way you would be looking at a real safety problem. Both for Motherwell fans and the away fans, especially considering its forecast to get worse this evening. All the talk of tesco and the cinema still being open is fine, but lets not forget both the police and traffic scotland are advising against all but essential travel, arriva have taken their fleet of buses off the road and Edinburgh airport is shut! Can the country cope? - blatantly not, but lets not pretend that only football fans feel the pain! PS - Two lanes currently closed on the M8 due to a jack knifed lorry!
  5. Ach 'well, I did something constructive instead.......
  6. Thats all we fucking need! Off because the weather is atrocious, fine Off because the polis say so - fine Off because our groundstaff or pitch couldnt handle the snow........ - Not fine! *Edit - just read flows post!
  7. ^Wheres that from? Official is down. Got to say Im pleased. I stay in an estate at the top of a fuckoff hill. Noway I was taking the car out in that today.
  8. Blackman Gow Hately Hammil Randolph!!
  9. At one point late in the game the other night someone, probably hately sent over a long high pass, the way Casagolda brought it down with instant control was very impressive. One things for sure, he's going to have to be a bit of a player to force his way into the first team, the way we are playing at the moment.
  10. Maybe whatever journo who spoke to him never asked about those two.
  11. When Blackman hits 20+ goals for us this season, his cult status will be assured!
  12. Isn't that £4 cheaper than a usual Saturday game?
  13. Eaststandal, good effort however I believe you need to work on grammer. Their and there specifically old boy. Carry on.
  14. Anyone else think big Randy should just step up to hit the pens from now on? Even if the keeper got anything on it, he would probably end up in the back of the net with the ball, the way Randolph puts the laces through it!
  15. I had a steak pie - pre kick off. It was a beauty!
  16. No Lasley, No Jennings, and yet you still think we will be fine with a team getting right in our faces?? You need to get a better tinterweb connection to watch the highlights. Humphrey, one of our standouts this season shites it when people get 'in his face', Forbes who will probably be brought in can't have a physical confrontation and I haven't seen Gow in his career relish people tearing into him. If Hamilton are intent on going toe to toe in an old fashioned bruise fest, we are going to struggle without a solid centre.
  17. Surely no Marvin fae the scheme??
  18. As you said, Faddy was a better player. Plus, how much did he actually feature for Everton? Not that much, certainly not at the start when he got his move at a young age. Its taken years to grow up age wise and football wise and moving to a lesser club for him to be able to hold a place down. McCarthy, haven't really watched wigan so can't judge him. I just dont think our Jamie could cut it yet and I certainly don't think he's physically able to match it with EPL defenders. The majority of EPL strikers are all big strapping athletes, even Torres is deceptive, when you see him up close you realise he isn't a wee weed.
  19. Absolutley no point in Murphy going to an EPL club right now. Look at it this way, Ports and the Juke can't command a place in an EPL team so Murphy at this stage in his development won't. Money and 'well tinted specs aside, he would be far better with another season and a half developing at Fir Park under Jack and Victor.
  20. I actually thought Hately played pretty well when he moved into the middle. Opinions differ but Im sorry to say I thought Gow was a waste of a shirt yesterday, I will temper that by saying I thought he was our best performer in the second half at Ibrox last week so I am not a Gow basher just for the sake of it, or jumping on any bandwagons. The ref was a fucking joke, no complaints about the penalty, Craigan broadcast his intention for what seemed like an age before he actually put his upper arm/shoulder on the ball. I thought Humphrey had a very good game, although would rather see Tam Hately hit the corners, Humps attempts did get better after he wasted the first two, but i would rather see someone we know can get the ball into the box 90% of the time hitting the dead ball rather than Humphrey who you are just hoping he can lift it over the first man never mind put it in the 6 yard box. A wins a win, onwards and upwards, whilst a midweek win would be great, I would happily sacrafice that right now for guaranteed 6 points in the next two league games. Mon the 'well!! PS, took my united mate into Daniels after the match, he was a bit star struck when he saw Sydney Devine standing infront of him at the bar!

    Rangers

I didnt think he was having that good a game, and then he burst through our team and planted a cracker in the back of the net. Bastard! On our side, no one really stood out for me so I give it to Blackman, scoring away at either of the dark venues deserves some credit.
  22. Forgot to mention, saw no mention in the press today of the stadium wide rendition of the billy boys when they went 3-1 up. To be fair to them I haven't heard that at Ibrox for a few years now, but it was definatley back yesterday. c***s!
  23. ^Fair enough but given the choice of a free ticket or sitting on the couch listening to it and posting with other fannys on the internet...... there was no choice really.
  24. I was sat in the h*n end, sitting on my hands pishing myself for the first half, made better because I stuck money on the Black man to score the first goal. Then we got ripped a new one. To be honest we didnt really do much wrong in the second half, Rangers markedly upped their performance. Davis's goal was an absolute belter and Wiess was a very good goal too. Sickening the way it happened but they are the champions, playing at home so you have to expect them to throw everything at you. At the end of the day even a point would have been a bonus away at Ibrox. Im not too disheartned. We played good stuff and even at 2-1 down we were still on the front foot looking to go at them. Playing like that against the non Old Firm teams we will have a good season.
