I didnt think he was having that good a game, and then he burst through our team and planted a cracker in the back of the net. Bastard! On our side, no one really stood out for me so I give it to Blackman, scoring away at either of the dark venues deserves some credit.

Forgot to mention, saw no mention in the press today of the stadium wide rendition of the billy boys when they went 3-1 up. To be fair to them I haven't heard that at Ibrox for a few years now, but it was definatley back yesterday. c***s!

^Fair enough but given the choice of a free ticket or sitting on the couch listening to it and posting with other fannys on the internet...... there was no choice really.

I was sat in the h*n end, sitting on my hands pishing myself for the first half, made better because I stuck money on the Black man to score the first goal. Then we got ripped a new one. To be honest we didnt really do much wrong in the second half, Rangers markedly upped their performance. Davis's goal was an absolute belter and Wiess was a very good goal too. Sickening the way it happened but they are the champions, playing at home so you have to expect them to throw everything at you. At the end of the day even a point would have been a bonus away at Ibrox. Im not too disheartned. We played good stuff and even at 2-1 down we were still on the front foot looking to go at them. Playing like that against the non Old Firm teams we will have a good season.

Was intending to go to this anyway, and just been offered my mates Ibrox season ticket. At the moment I can't afford to knock back the equivelant of £25 so I'll be sitting in with the hordes. Just hope its not another 6-1!

Two of them are injured

No wonder its so hard to get into journalism if those are the skills it takes to be credible....... cut and paste from MFC official site!

I don't usually get pedantic on the interwebs but Jesus Christ, the grammar police really need to get a hold of you!
-
I still wouldnt agree with that. If you need a goal, are playing at home against the worst team in the league, you dont persist with 1 upfront. You send on more strikers.
-
Pish performance, but great result. Could not for one second understand why when we are 1-1 at home against the worst team in the league we would take a striker off and replace him with Ross Forbes. Absolute madness in my mind. Saying all that, we won, we got three points and we are sitting at the top of 'our league', so can't complain too much. I just wish that Brown would send the team out to leather the opposition before easing back down through the gears. Scoring in the 2nd minute against a team who are as bad as St Mirren, would have ruptured their confidence. The next 20 minutes would have been the perfect opportunity to throw everything at them and decimate them. Still, 3 points is 3 points!

There we go, now the managers admitting the club are getting into trouble because of a few wee fannies. Grow the fuck up and watch the 'well within the rules. Sing your wee hearts out, make up flags, whatever. But give the fucking smoke bombs a rest! -
Given the amount of donkeys in the national team though.........
-
St Mirren are our bogey team, we are in 3rd spot while they are at the bottom. We are playing reasonably decent, they are a shambles.......... 1-2.

3 games in the space of a week, all pre-paid on the season ticket!

Youl get flashes on open all mics, but there doesnt appear to be any specific game coverage.

No internet radio covereage??

Im going to a wedding too, gutted, 'well up for this match!

He'll play Whittaker at left back.

English dad, French? maw, born in Monaco.

Agree with you there, but remember Broadfoot has played a shedload of champions league games and the UEFA cup final. Our Marky can't hold a candle to that kind of experience.

You dont think he's good enough to get a cap for Jamaica?? Given the very limited exploits we seen of Hutch last season, I wouldnt be surprised if he gets a couple of moves and really ups his game. Getting into the England squad would be a hard task but we have only really seen a few games from the boy.

No, just no. I like Lasley, but he is in no-way comparable to Robson, or Blackpool captain Charlie Adam who was by far the best player in that team last season. Get the Claret and Amber specs off. BTW, I agree with you regarding Reynolds.
-
Not that Im doubting you, but do you have any knowledge to base that on or are you just giving her credit because of the good things she has actually done for the club? On that note, with the amount of press we/she has had in the last month or so, I've had mates who support the OF and other clubs, talking about how good a job she appears to be doing and how she seems to say all the right things. A stark contrast from Martin Bain, John Reid etc etc.

I do think that when there is a big delay between the penalty getting awarded and the actual taking of the spot kick, the taker should pass responsibility to someone who hasn't just spent the last 5 minutes thinking about it and getting wound up by the other teams gamesmanship. We saw it last season with JOB against Rangers and we saw it lastnight. I wouldv liked to have seen Craigan go up top and say to Murphy, just hang back, give it to Hatley or Hammil who the opposition havent been winding up. Further on from that point, if it looks likely the pen is getting awarded for a red card offence and theres defo going to be a delay, get someone who's not going to be hittting it to pick up the ball and take the crap from the opposition. It would have been quality to have seen Saunders standing with the ball for 5 minutes, taking the bait and then throwing the ball to Murphy when the time actually came.
