That's exactly the point I was making.

    Ins & Outs

I wasn't getting at you Yoshi, whatsoever. The amount of fans on here saying "Let Blackman go, he's not looked interested since CB left..", "Hateley can join Gannon, not looked interested in a long time and not kicked a ball since x...", "Suttons lazy and never looked bothered in chasing a ball down" - thats the most ridiculous one yet. All players go off the boil at some point. It doesn't mean there pish or they are disinterested. When Rooney has just scored his first open-play goal since last season the other week and he is apparently "World Class" then a few heads going down means nothing for the likes of Motherwell players.

I think we should just sack all our players with the amount of them that don't look interested according to our fans... Hateley, Murphy, Blackman, Reynolds, Sutton and Humphrey.

Gazzy, this isn't a dig but how many times have you genuinely seen him play (both, Gow and Humphrey?). Gow might know what he is doing in his head (which I totally believe he does) but he can't produce it. Motherwell can't afford to carry players that can't perform. He IS an intelligent player if he could make his feet do what his brain is telling him. Thats why so many are happy to see him go. I for one agree. We can't play him for a CHANCE that he might FINALLY make that killer pass (he done it once I think for Lasleys goal?). Once in so many apperance isn't good enough for a 'Well player... If anything he needs a bigger club where he'd get more possession and be able to dictate a game better. IMO, Gow would have worked well in the Porter, Hughes, McCormack, Clarky season. Now, he doesn't. ie. Humphrey - he is what we need and what Motherwell fans expect of a Motherwell player. He'll run himself into the ground. With pace to burn its what we always have needed in a Well team. Fair enough, he won't beat a man and cross a Beckham like ball 10 times out of 10 but what he does do is what no one else can't in our side (with sheer pace too). Hence why HUmphrey is respected and well thought of from the 'Well support and Gow who looks disinterested sometimes isn't.
  5. Let's hope he would take it as constructive criticism and change a few things. Mind you, you can't teach and old dog new tricks....
  6. I'd go with something along the lines of this. I'm not getting into the debate of if he has passed it or not but its the captain side of things that really gets to me. (Actually, if I hear the "50 caps for NI again I will cry. Loovens has Dutch caps, woooo weeeee). Off the field, he does what he does and does it well (AFAIK). But on the park, he has to concentrate on his game THAT much he forgets he needs to keep the players focused, keep them fighting, etc. Randomly clapping your hands once in a while is not being a leader or being a motivator on the park. We don't have a lot of choice but if someone like Jennings said stick your foot in then you wouldn't really say no to him. Also, just because he has the club at heart shouldn't be a reason alone for him to stay captain. Got my fire hose at the ready for being shot down in flames..

    Accies V Well

He did indeed. I didn't tune in until a few minutes in thinking I hadn't missed much so I was going daft trying to find the goal scorer. No luck since its 0-0.
  8. If there is one thing I'd hope McCall can bring to Motherwell it would be to have some idea on how to take a throw in with a little imagination.
  9. Found out last night from a work colleague who is friendly with Tommy Craig that he and Collins have put there names forward to the club for the job (as a pair).
  10. Live on Sky Sports News that the game WILL go ahead, it's just a case of who is going to ref it. But the Hibs game being tomorrow looks like they'll find it tough to get a ref in on time, ouch.
  11. So we are back to game aff then?
  12. Nice to see Lasley get a run out, well, according to 5th picture of Action Shots on the official.
  13. Anyone know if there will be highlights due to the BBC strike action?
  14. I guess you have all forgot how good a track record we have up in Inverness. It's at home we are useless against them..
  15. 30 yard drive by Blackman. :D
  16. Well, he's half way there then, give 'um time..
  17. Quite annoyed myself. Not often I'm in the house and listen to the game to find theres no coverage.
  18. If we didn't go in at HT one up and looking solid with Rangers yet to come out the traps, I don't think we would be so annoyed at losing like that. Moving on, next weekend it is for another 3 points. Mon the 'Well..
  19. What the fuck has happened to us? Have we left the park?
  20. We have fell to pieces. Wtf happened at HT? Fucking hell..
