  1. That might be it mate ,what I do remember at the time was a poster saying that him and his old man had joined and me thinking they were considerably richer than me.
  2. Aye yir heid gets muddled as you get older Alan, I think it was actually just a bar in the cooper stand [not the cooper bar itself] that was open before and after the game. It was expensive to join and was only open to fans for a wee while.
  3. A few seasons ago fans were offered the chance to join the Millennium club or whatever it was called it was an exclusive and rather pricey club to join ,was just wondering the exact details so if anyone has some info or is a member of the group could they give me some info.

  11. What was our connection with this guy? I read that he is signing for Partick thistle and that he had been at Motherwell before going to Stirling albion. Must be auld age I cant remember him.
  12. Would imagine that if JOB leaves for whoever he will do the same as he has at Motherwell, have a good game now and then but mostly run about looking good but actually contributing very little.

  18. Got our hopes built up after the good win on Saturday i think , weve been poor all season to be honest and i for one didnt fancy this game when the draw was first made. Sad thing is when we go out the Scottish the rest of the season just isnt the same. Well done Inverness by the way.
  19. Didn't make it yesterday but im pleased to see two guys ive slated a few times particularly O'Brien having good games ,what really pleases me is that the feel good factor is returning to the well fans , wont make it to Inverness as im working but have a great time guys.
  20. PERTH Glory midfielder Adriano Pellegrino will fly to Glasgow next week to try and seal a dream move with Scottish giants Celtic. The 25-year-old midfielder, who won Perth's Most Glorious Player Award for the 2007/2008 season, will head to Scotland to trial with Celtic after Glory's Round 24 fixture against Wellington Phoenix. Glory owner Tony Sage revealed Celtic's interest in Pellegrino in The West Australian on Saturday, adding the club wouldn't stand in his way of a move but had held the trial off for Perth's busy upcoming period. Sage said: "He's asked if he can go on trial and we've said yes but it has to fit our time frame. "They had wanted him over this week but he would've missed three games so we said no. Now he's scheduled to go after the Wellington game." The Glory owner added if Pellegrino failed to win a deal in Scotland, he was expected back for Perth's Round 25 clash with Central Coast on January 31. The West Australian also speculated SPL club Motherwell were interested in Pellegrino's services.
  21. JORDAN STILL ON WELL RADAR Tony Hesketh insists Motherwell still retain an interest in Lancaster City's leading scorer Jordan Connerton, despite Jim Gannon's sacking. Former Preston boss Craig Brown is in temporary charge at Fir Park, and the Scottish Premier League outfit were ready to tie up a deal for the teenage hot-shot. "It was Jim Gannon who was the driving force behind taking Jordan to Motherwell, so when he went it looked like everything was back to square one, but they are still on the scene and monitoring him.
  22. Think you'll find that were more interested in slagging players ,rumours and innuendo than finding out who two genuine french trialists might be. And that doesn't necessarily mean they are internationalists or world cup players just because they're Frenchies.
  23. Don't know if its been mentioned but the beeb site has an interview with Craig Brown in which he mentions two french trialists.
  24. I will say the same about Slane and O'Brien as I said about Gannon when the rumours started, if they don't want to be at Motherwell[for whatever reason ] let them go were better of without them. We've lost better players than them over the years and survived.
