Just a wee comment on Jutkiewicz and Ruddy, they have done well for us but are they really going to move on to bigger and better things I think these guys have found there level ,two decent players in an average team playing in an average league .They WILL move, but like so many other players that have left Motherwell in the past 3 or 4 seasons will find the step up a bit harder than they might think or have been led to believe.

Oh yes we are.

Why should we fear Dundee united were as good as them ,think were a cert next week ,they have just beat celtic are unbeaten away from home so the outcome is obvious .

The guy in the back row second in from the right looks like Peter Weir who played for St Mirren and Aberdeen.

Gannon refuses to speak to the Press Jim Gannon left New Douglas Park without speaking to the Press this afternoon after he had watched his side in a 2-2 draw with Hamilton. The manager had refused to speak to the BBC before the game after they had named players that would be "cleared out" in January despite the manager refusing to name any names. He was furious on a number of occasions throughout the game with the ref Craig Thomson having to speak to him at one point to calm him down. When the press were waiting for him all they were told was that Gannon and assistant Peter Ward had left the building. It was left to Ross Forbes and Lukas Jutkiewicz to face the assembled journalists!

Andrew Weston on twitter says of Gannon......appears he's in a bit of a huff with media.i'll leave you lot to speculate on why.

Maybe should have won but a wee bit credit to the young guys coming back twice to take a point ,should be worth watching on Alba TV tonight.

I like Forbes and he has scored a few penalties this season but I'm never very confident when he steps up to take one.

Getting beat 2-1 at firpark by Hearts back in the early 70,s in the Texaco cup ,the first game was 1-1 at Tynecastle and we were 1 up at firpark and heading to the final when they scored an equaliser deep into injury time and went on to win the match .I was only about 12 or 13 at the time and it was the first time I had felt the gut wrenching pain of defeat ,it still pains me [but not as bad] when I think about it 30 odd years later.

Big game for not only the players but for Gannon as well , in the two St Mirren games he got is all very wrong with his overly tactical approach, a more direct game is needed and not so much of the fannying about Jim.

The St Mirren game is over and its now the hated Hearts ,nothing i like better than beating this lot ,4-0 the well . But i would settle for 1-0.

Gus MacPherson deserves some credit he got the better of Malpass [not to difficult mind you],he got the better of McGhee, and so far this season has totally outsmarted Gannon. If we take a humping by Hearts on Saturday Jimbo better take cover well fans rightly or wrongly aint the most patient of fans thats for sure.
