Interesting some of the loan signings being touted about on this thread , not one player mentioned will be at Motherwell loan deal or otherwise this season ,can guarantee it.

I'm not being overly critical here but i noticed watching the game again that a poor pass out of defence by O'Brien led up to the first saints goal, and Murphy with plenty time to get the ball out the box hit it straight to the St Johnstone player and that was number two. And finally I know Ruddy didn't have a good game on Saturday and a few have mentioned his fiasco at the edge of the box when only bad finishing by Deuchars let us of the hook ,but it all came about by Hutch trying and failing to dribble past there player. Slack play loses games, keep it tight Motherwell.

Did one of the Stockport guys not come on this site and speak about the need for a bit of patience with Gannon ,he said he would experiment with players and formations. That for me says there will be games where things might go belly up, games where we might question team selection and substitutions but if that turns out for our long term benefit then so be it.

Hamilton are still hoping to sign Inverness's Dougie Imrie, Motherwell's Jamie Murphy and Kilmarnock's Craig Bryson despite having bids rejected for the players. (Daily Express)
Reid said: "Craig Bryson, Jamie Murphy and Dougie Imrie are three very good players and I would love to have them at Hamilton, but their clubs and the boys themselves will have something to say about that.

Motherwell boss Jim Gannon refused to be drawn on speculation linking Jamie Murphy with a move to SPL rivals Hamilton.
He said: "At this point we wouldn't comment on anything like that. Jamie Murphy is very much part of our plans for the future.

According to the official site Slane is a member of the under 19 squad, Forbes, Archdeacon and Murphy are first team squad players.

What is the contract situation with the likes of Forbes, Slane, Murphy etc, some talk already of Slane attracting the attention of Celtic, so are these players on nickles and dimes contracts,first team contracts or we can swan of anytime we like for nothing contracts.

Great news but I think some are being harsh on Fraser though ,as for Sheridan that just isn't going to happen the old order is dead we now have a different manager with his own ideas about players and how he wants us to play.
