  1. Seems to be a bit of concern about Hibs from a few posters and although a decent team were better. Hibs goalkeepers are more than not crap. The defence is a disaster waiting to happen ,midfield at best mediocre ,the only good players are Stokes and Riordan but we have defenders to match there pace so we shouldn't be overly concerned. This is a game that if we go about it in the right way is in the bag. 1-3 to Hibs by the way.

  2. Finally we are getting credit for our form this year. We will be ok as long as Billy Dodds predicts another Well defeat. If he predicts a Well win am gonnae greet.

It WILL be a defeat for us on Satuday ,myself and Doddy are never wrong Well 1 Hibs 3. :wallbash:

  3. Over the past 3 or 4 years we've had more defeats to lower league opposition than victories at firpark . We should win tomorrow night but I think big Terry will put one over on us so I go for a 1-2 defeat.

  4. Quote from Jim Gannon.; We play football when we can, and we are resilient when we need to be. "

Think Jim hits the nail on the head there ,its not always going to be pretty but we will do what has to be done to take something from a match.

  5. Outwith reducing the price of the match what could realistically be done about any of the other issues. The game being all ticket is to comply with the authorities so that cant be changed .Those same authorities [the police] wont do anything about intimidation .And the game being an early Saturday morning kick off is because like most other clubs we need the cash so we play when were told to play. Lowering the price might put a few more bums on seats but with so many other issues unresolved it wont be many.

  6. How are the Cooper fans a disgrace?, surely it's not the fault of the fans that turned up.

If it looked empty, it's because of the ones that didn't go. That's not a criticism of anyone not at the game, people have other commitments in life, both with their time and their finances.

As far as I see it, everyone who wanted to be at the game got a ticket. It's not as if we were turning away h**s that wanted a ticket. The section of the POD nearest the cooper was not full, so I don't see your argument

Hit the nail firmly on the head mate the crowd today would have been about the same no matter who was in the Cooper stand, what the club has to do is look at ways of getting the supporters who don't go to old firm games for whatever reason to come along.

  7. Thought it was a great shift from Motherwell ,so many good things that have already been said so I wont repeat them. My man of the match was young Saunders thought he was superb, has great pace and will out jump most players. The future is bright the future is Motherwell. :wallbash:

  8. Here is a statement from one of the Rangers forums, just the sort of arrogance you would expect.......... I don't see why we couldn't give Wilson his chance & rest Weir ahead of the CL game. Wilson wouldn't be out of his depth against a young M'well team .

anyone else getting annoyed with reynolds always talking about leaving? every interview he has they ask him about it

Motherwell fullback Mark Reynolds expects this to be his last season at the club.

Reynolds said: "I signed a four-year deal two years ago because I really wanted to be here although obviously I didn't want to see the end of it. I'm still only 22, I am still developing as a player and I am happy to stay here and I am happy to learn.

"But now I have to start thinking about making a move in the next couple of transfer windows. As everyone knows Motherwell have been a stepping stone to go on to bigger things.

"Paul Quinn and David Clarkson served their apprenticeship here, racked up 100 or 200 games and stepped up to another level.

"That's what we've all got to aspire to do.

"From what we have seen and the way the manager approaches the game he is going to be good to work under and grow under. You can be happy under a manager but not go anywhere. But he's the type of manager who will help us grow as players - and hopefully attract a team to come in."

  11. CARDIFF City and Dagenham and Redbridge have joined the race to sign Hucknall Town defender Adrian Hawes.

The central defender played in a trial game at Motherwell last week.

"I think Adrian will end up going somewhere and we will get a fee for him," said Yellows boss Bryan Chambers.

"It would be best for us if he did move to Motherwell because they would sign him in January and he could continue playing for us in the meantime."
