Seven pages devoted to a total nonentity.

    Reynolds

That's not "totally" agreeing with Frazzle's original post. The title of the thread is unnecessary. By all means, criticise his performance last night(and I imagine Mark Reynolds will be his own worst critic)but for goodness sake, leave it at that.

    Pies

That wasn't the pie, that was the wind. Don't blame the pie.

    Pies

There is no such thing as a healthy pie. A pie is a pie. The grease is part of the attraction of a pie. It depends who makes the pie. Chapman's, Denholm's and Auld's pies all have just the right amount of juice and grease. And a Big Pie is not for the faint hearted(I imagine.... )

    Pies

Yes Yes Yes Er...... Chapman's Pies won a gold award for their steak pies in Nov 2009. Why we don't encourage local business is beyond me!! Q. What is the average home gate? A. Order a matching number, and who knows, if there are a sufficient number of piping hot roasting pies available throughout the game, we'd possibly have happier, more contented fans....or maybe the pies should be worked on first......

    Pies

Shhhh...this is the wrong thread for a moan. Pies are supposed to melt the enamel off your front teeth, and take out the membranes around them, if the pies are heated properly. There is a peculiar way of eating a very hot pie...and it depends on the dexterity of the mandibular jaw bone, moving up and down to both cool down the mince and the pastry, and allow their journey further into the mouth, along the back teeth, then over the throat, hopefully preserving the oesophagus from disintegrating, before the next bite. So stop moaning about the temperature..

    Pies

I'd order and heat up loads of pies, making sure no one left the kiosk disappointed, and put what wasn't used in pokes, and hand them out to the home fans for their journey home... You'd think that after all this time, the caterers could at least attempt to get the numbers nearly right.

    Pies

Fair enough. Pies it is. Chapman's Pies were the best at FP a few years back. With the hot grease running between your fingers, there was always the wee pools of deliciousness to sook at between biting into the crisp pastry shell and savouring the minced lamb, spiced with the correct amount of seasoning and a touch of je ne sais quoi. It wasn't unusual to have two pies back to back, one slathered in brown sauce, and one on its bare feet. (Washed down with Bovril.) I used to take lemon-scented hand wipes with me, so that the pies could go anywhere on my face and hands, and I didn't care. Ate them with total abandonment and recklessness. And was clean and fresh for the second half.

    Pies

I like the smell of the pies at FP. I have moved closer to a person eating a pie just for a free smell. I think they smell better than they taste, and the smell costs nothing! Katie commented today that the excessive £3.50 for a hot dog was nothing short of theft. And 90p for a bag of crisps is ridiculous too. To be honest, I've never asked the price of a hot chocolate, because its always bought for me. It just tastes of hot water knocked stupid. But the carton keeps my hands warm. So really, I go to FP for the visceral rather than the food or the football. But, great thread. The portend of a useful debate, which I'm confident will be merged with the thread that you can't find. There will be someone on the merging as we live and breathe.
  10. Oh right. Waaaaay to clever for me, retaining a spelling error and then criticising others for their spelling errors and grammatical inexactitudes. Rebel.
  11. Nope. That's not two down... That's just failing to admit to one spelling error...completely unacceptable.
  12. I'll give that veiled criticism some thought...definately...(and I GOT that one )
  13. Elitism - Unnaceptable.... The correct spelling of unacceptable is...UNACCEPTABLE.
  14. Great post, but I'm prepared Tibet that this Buddhism won't last..."Hey Hey we're not the Monk-ees.."
  15. You need to be in the know to know.......
  16. Just noticed this remark. Nice one GazzyB. Sealed your well developed argument. Keep dancing.
  17. A fool I'm not. Not by definition. Nor appearance. I've said what I've said.
  18. I take your point about comparing the depth of information processed to form both GazzyB's opinion and my own. Its not the same. So I'm wrong about that. I just know a bit more than him... And if you read the (sigh) entire thread, my opinion is a slight varient on the majority opinion.
  19. So....you think a pig in shoes looks daft???
  20. I agree. We've had worse. We've had better. I've given as much validation to my opinion as I think is necessary, same as everyone else who expresses opinions. I'm not into microcosmic argument about a person whom I don't rate(and I use the word "rate" to collect my opinion together) I've said what I've said, and GazzyB as per usual, becomes a dug with a bone. And I'm wasting as much time and threads as the rest of you who post. I just don't feel it necessary to pursue those posters whom I find as tiresome, boring, uninformed, ignorant, or whatever, to explain every single particle of discussion. However, thats what this forum is all about. A matter of opinion...just like the man with the one leg. (I say these things in a loving and caring way...... )
  21. I'm not backtracking. I'm giving GazzyB his argument.
  22. Encore une fois... And GazzyB...you win. I fold You're right...apart from "umbrage", not umbridge. (and I'm in the know.) And Bob Malcolm isn't worth five pages of comment.
  23. Exactly. (Keep the discussion open, Gazzy. Don't do your usual, narrowing it down ...you don't agree with me, fair enough, but don't waste the thread)
