  1. Not quite the right place to put this but, close enough. Long article but we're one of 'the 8' to be selected in the top tier of Project Brave MailSport can finally reveal the eight clubs selected to spearhead the elite level of the SFA’s Project Brave radical new blueprint for youth football. Celtic, Rangers, Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen will be joined by Motherwell, Hamilton and Kilmarnock after a brutal application process for academy status. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/eight-premiership-clubs-spearhead-project-11508002
  2. MOTM for Campbell. Well in. Good to see the Scotland games around the country I think
  3. Graham is passionate but the ref chat is murder. Lewis I think is really decent but does get drawn into the 'ref is against us chat' when commentating with Graham as opposed to the likes of Scott Mullen
  4. We also have a very well connected new Comms manager...
  5. Seems clear it's a mechanism to put money through the Well Society and trigger the double your money offer from Les. If we just sell shares it's money to the club, and not into the society and not eligible for the double your money. I'd imagine part of that discussion and agreement with Les was if someone does buy shares from the Well Society they become a well society member (if their not already, which I am guessing most will be anyway).
  6. Seems to me people think the potential risk here is much much much bigger than it actually is
  7. The money raised from the share sale gets doubled with the Les offer which is paying off the debt. No?
  8. It's fairly simple in my eyes. Teams know how we play now and set up accordingly. Whilst it's a great compliment the manager and players need to get around that sharpish.
  9. Big Kipre is great but that mistake has been coming for a few games now. Quite a few times he's been caught under the ball or turned. He'll learn from it though.
  10. Can't grumble really. We weren't at the races. However....it took a bad error from Kipre for them to score and Demi should have scored his every day of the week. Small margins.
  11. Yep, happy with that. Been calling for Frear back in for a few weeks so we see some more creativity up the left. Tait can feel a bit hard done by. But, I think it's the right change.
  12. We should have started the Well Society by kidding on it was a big massive display.
  13. Target reached. Unbelievable stuff!
  14. Aye, this is it in my view. Still a very important player but not quite as noticeable.
  15. I'm confident Fisher will show as a good football player given a decent chance. Most had Bowman written off and now we love the big elbowy lump.
  16. https://spfl.co.uk/news/article/betfred-cup-final-ticket-information/ Looks like we have about 12000 or so with South Stand Upper above us not yet allocated? I'd think we will get that if we sell out. Or if not hand it back to Celtic.
  17. Semple on the scoresheet for Scotland U17. Currently 1-0 half time v Estonia. Euro qualifier. Cole Starrs scored in a 1-1 draw with Wales a couple of days ago too. Victory Shield.
  18. The majority of the media play to their listeners and readers. It doesn't really surprise me or make me angry. It's like the The National suddenly coming out and praising Theresa May. Not going to happen.
  19. Carson Kipre Hartley Dunne Tait McHugh Bigi Rose Frear Moult Bowman I'd rest Cadden and Campbell this evening given they didn't get a rest over the international break. Would like to see Frear involved and Tait back on the right. If all going well Fisher to get some time too.
  20. The level of seethe across the press is brilliant, the fact Alves got cited is brilliant and that statement. Wow. A couple of things though, stepping back a bit: - Bowman has studded a Celtic player in the inside of the thigh and drew blood and now broke a Rangers players nose and didn't get sent off for either. I do think he is just clumsy/fired up at times but he needs to watch. I reckon most of us would want a Celtic/Rangers player sent off if that happened to us. - Our tactics at times, although effective, have at times lacked a bit of football since we've played Tait on the left and dropped Cadden back. I would like to see that changed a little. We will probably need to change it somehow anyway. As everyone knows how we play and set up now.
  21. Personally thought Bowman was a lucky boy yesterday. Did the same thing twice and caught Cardoso an absolute belter. Meant or not we have seen them given plenty of times. He needs to watch that or he will get sent off eventually. Also wouldn't have been surprised to see Moult and Alves go as well for kicking out at each other. Or Cardoso for his first on Moult. Not passing judgement on any of them but all those types of things have seen red cards before and will again. Was a tasty robust game!
  22. Ideal. I am indeed 'working from home' Superb day yesterday. On reflection, a solid spine of Carson, Hartley, McHugh, Bowman and Moult. Brilliance from Moult for his second. We didn't even play well and still beat them 2-0! Bit of an off day for Campbell and Kipre - two of our brightest this year to date. Kipre came into eventually and I thought looked solid in the last 20. Good experience for them both and hopefully take that into the final. Also pleased for Dunne. Had his best game in a while and can take the assist for Moult's second! Thoroughly good day after a 3 hour drive from my in laws 70th overnight in Portpatrick and a closed A77 due to flooding!
  23. Moult for me. Carson, McHugh and Hartley were good today also.
