  1. Game is on Partick Thistle PPV online tonight for six quid - for any expats/VPN users
  2. Going for 3 here...third time in a row I agree with you Ya Bezzer! The team has been pretty consistent this season to date, from a personnel perspective. Losing a few players at the same time is always going to be a challenge. When it's Carson, Hartley, Moult and now Cadden, 4 of our influential players, it's going to be even more of a challenge. We all hoped the players on the outskirts could come in and immediately stake a claim for their place. What we got on Saturday was those players not exactly doing that but also our more average players dropping in performance levels without the regulars around then. Bit of a perfect storm of shite. Partick will be interesting as we've not had much time to train since Saturday. I don't expect us to win but I'll be nicely surprised if we do. If we don't win it's not time for toys out the pram and panic yet. The manager and players (rate them or not) have got us to where we are right now and beaten some good teams along the way.
  3. 500K seems to make a bit of sense as a trigger point when you take into account a sell on to Wrexham (10-25% depending where you read) and then the money back to pay debt from the remaining fee (80% from memory) leaving us something like £75 - 100k to reinvest in the team. Whatever the fee, or if he stays until May and leaves for free, Moult will go with my good wishes - what a player for us.
  4. Appears Dunne has a 1 year option on his initial year as soon as he triggers a certain amount of games played. He is only a few away from that.
  5. Of course. That's separate from admin errors though. People could still be underpaid by mistake.
  6. Seems so according to the official site. Tickets must be purchased from Fir Park in advance (link below - couldn't access from my phone when I asked the question earlier) http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2017/12/06/hearts-away-ticket-information/
  7. Moult is my main worry. Carson has been great but Griffith's is a decent deputy. I'd expect Carson to make it too. McHugh dropping out of midfield and into centre back isn't the worst thing in the world given his form and we know he's more than decent in Time for the players who expected to start regularly in the season to step up and make difference. Fisher, Tanner, Bigi, Grimshaw...the stage is yours.
  8. Think I read somewhere else it's just ticket only on Saturday? Def no pay at the gate option?
  9. Thought we looked jaded and tetchy for most of the game. Unfortunately one game too many for us methinks, which is understandable given the week just gone, and Celtic passed it around us at times today. A week to focus on Hearts and I think we will come out flying.
  10. Ugh. Do not like statements. As I said on another thread - it's just a very 'old firm' thing to do.
  11. I'd rather we didn't release a public statement or criticise decisions against us in public. It's very 'old firm' to do such a thing. Deal with it in a mature, professional way and go through the correct channels as has been stated publicly already.
  12. Go on then... Wouldn't surprise me to see a couple moved out on loan or sold. Bigi, MacLean and Fisher are 3 who probably expected to playing more regularly.
  13. Let's not fall into the paranoia boat please. If we do, we're no better than the people we constantly call out for being paranoid! Shite decision, end of.
  14. Did that actually happen? I was right underneath in section P and didn't see a thing.
  15. Which is the same as many WS members, who for example started a monthly contribution and then stopped (for whatever reason)
  16. Not sure they have been. A few of my celtic supporting mates got tickets when we sent back blocks in the west stand and that is the only additional sale that has happened I'm told.
  17. He's magic in an interview. Loves the fitba and just wants to get fucked in about it. Perfect.
  18. Harsh. Think the club have made it fairly clear there was no other option but to try and attain the project brave status. The alternative is to sit in a huff and lose out on funding other clubs will then get...
  19. A regional balance makes absolute sense but how do you do that fairly unless it's a some sort of centralised academy and draft system? Tough one. Project Brave does not sit well with me and does not seem fair on a few levels at all but I can understand the difficulties too.
  20. Agree with the that. As great as we have been for the first quarter of the season, people now know how we set up and how we play. We've lost the surprise element we had and since the quarter final really teams know how to setup to make things difficult and the better teams have the quality to unpick us. We need to work out a way for the final, and rest of the season also, on how we can tweak the system but keep our intensity and workrate which is one of our huge positives 4-2-3-1 is a decent shout. My main worry is we have played 3 at the back all season. Do we have time to bed in to that system?
