  1. Doubt any other manager has been watching us this season thinking that any of our shite players could do such a good job for them that it would be worth paying them premier league wages. This constant 'offload' chat Is wishful thinking. That will happen in the summer. Any news on the fitness of vigurs and Lawson?
  2. The best we can hope for is keeping ojamaa, getting vigurs and Lawson fit, and maybe one new face. As said above, the offloading will have to wait until the summer.
  3. Done. The redirect to http://mfccommunitytrust.org.uk/ at the end of the survey seems to be broken, and the question about whether you want to donate stuff should have a "None" option.
  4. The move that led to the goal started with a throw in! Their 'goal' looked in at first glance but I'll take a wee bit of luck for a change. The red was a red.
  5. I don't think the twitter feed did us justice, interesting to hear some eye witness reports.
  6. Second part of Les Hutchison interview.
  7. They actually replied to me within the day, and were just as quick with my follow up questions.
  8. When I contacted them via their web form the reply went to my spam folder (Gmail) so you might want to check that. Whoever the tech guy is for the society might want to look into that too.
  9. Part 1 of Les Hutchison Well Society interview, apologies if posted elsewhere.
  10. Here is the link to the rumour mentioned above.
  11. Was going for Kampmann quantity with Gannon quality.
  12. It will be interesting to hear from a couple of Sligo and s*horpe fans, particularly on how his tenure came to an end in each place, and whether he was able to implement his philosophy as mentioned in his interviews so far. Overall I like what I have heard from him, and I hope he gets the backing he needs to get things going. It is encouraging to hear his views on the community aspect of the club, and I am sure that played a part in his appointment. The damage has been done already this season, so as long as we finish outside of the bottom 2 I'm happy, then hopefully we can have a Kampmann/Gannon-esque summer. Then I'll totally judge him after the first game of next season. Any chance he'll pick up the McCall trait of emailing us all?
  13. he's Iain baraclough, he isn't Brian clough, but he is good enough, to win some games and stuff. I also do private functions.
  14. Has the club at any point named any names in relation to the manager search? There is all this talk of people turning them down, when it was made clear that no decision would be made until ownership was clear, and it seems that this just happened today As far as ownership goes we have the option of owning it ourselves or hoping some millionaire buys us and has good intentions, and isn't as naieve as Boyle was. And since he no longer wants to be the owner someone has to take over.
  15. If the bookies are anything to go by we've had 5 managers in the last week.
  16. As far as silence goes, as far as I can tell we can't announce anything until the paperwork is finalized on ownership, and that has been made clear, just like the request for confidentiality from the new backers. I don't know what else could be done to make us all feel better, some things just take time and I'd rather we did it this way than make an announcement and have to take it back. We don't normally change ownership and manager at the same time, so there's no real timeline for this.
  17. Mckinnon probably just read the Record article or heard it on Twitter/Facebook. Doubt he has any inside info.
  18. Realistically the only players we can "get rid" of are the loanees, everyone else is under contract and we would have to pay that up for them to go, and I doubt we can afford that and the cost of whoever we bring in to replace them. Not much chance of other clubs taking them off our hands either considering how shite they are.
  19. If my memory is correct, we installed Davies, Butcher and Malpas immediately on announcing their predecessors being sacked, but McGhee, McCall and Gannon were all out of nowhere. I am sure that when we appointed McLeish, Kampmann and Black the papers had the story a few days in advance, and had their names mentioned. I have released memories I shouldn't have, off to sit in a dark room.
  20. Why is Adams such an unpopular choice? Seemed to do well overall at Ross County.
  21. Why anyone would think the Solano thing is a good idea escapes me. Look at what happened to Airdrie, Dundee and Hearts. When owners like this get what they need, or can no longer make money, they aren't going to do what John Boyle did and write off part of what is owed to them, they will screw the club over. The reason fan ownership appeals to me is that the fans are the only people who truly care about the club. Not the players, employees, or owners, because they come and go and there are hundreds of other clubs out there. But if we lose our club, then that's it. I also believe that we deserve the club we pay for. If the current level of investment from our fans is the maximum we can bear (including gates, merch, and well society), then that is what we have to live with. I know what I'm prepared to pay and I don't expect 2nd place every year at that price.
  22. Do we have enough strikers at the club for ardiles to use?
  23. He showed interest in the hibs job and previouslt managed Royal Antwerp. Would be an interesting one.
