I never knew about the 3pm slot? Any reason for that? I can only tell that this is the most viwed slot for live games in Germany! As per STV it seems that Sky are favourites.

I am currently trying to call them. I know I have a 12 months agreement, but based on different programming. As they dont have the EPL and SPL anymore, that should be enough for a breach of contract, shouldnt it?

I would think that ESPN will sort a deal with Setanta, if they get the rights. Unless they are trying to use this confusion to establish another Channell, maybe even a stand-alone pay-tv. Co-incidently (spelling?!) ESPNA had a Free-to-air weekend, there have always been talks about ESPNA joining Sky as Sky already shows ESPN Classics, which could lead to ESPN showing SPL via Sky, which would mean that Setanta is done and dusted (if they are not already anyway) We had different thing going on in Germnay with the Bundesliga rights and stuff. You can not imagine what is happening behind closed doors... So be aware for a nice surprise...

Ok, as much as I agree on Clarksons running/fighting ability and yes, he is a team player, I can not imagine he will manage the Championship. His technical abilities are way beyond standard. As most people know, I dont really rate him, but I have to admit he scored his goals this season, however I am sure that any other striker in the same position would have scored the same amount of goals. Problem is/will be that we dont have any other strikers who can play Clarksons role. As for the money: If its more than 300k I would def let him go, or I would ask him to sign a new contract. FRom a business point of view, JB would have to decide: money or player and if its player, then only with a new contract. Motherwell cant afford to give a player away for free.

The thing is, how can Setanta try to negotiate the contracts?!? I should try this at argos. Buy a new Flatscreen Telly for £1200 with a 24 month repayment and after 3 months I tell them I dont have any money and actually can only afford to pay £300 for the telly... Its not that Setanta JUST cant get enough money, they are not having half of as many subscribers they need to have to break even..
