Looks like another case of the SFA being too far up UEFAs arse, any rule that UEFA think up the SFA seem to want to follow to the letter while the rest of europe pick and choose which rules to adhere too.Could be another reason.....given that we have just competed in europe for the 3rd year in a row and the SFA know which clubs this rule would hit worst, might be their way of making sure Fir Park wont qualify for a licence to host euro games next season, when we make 4 in a row.
We dont have a creative midfielder or a midfielder who makes forward runs into the box, Gow can do both so how this is being met with "our immediate problems lie elsewhere on the pitch" and other negative comments i dont know. The guy is the type of player we dont have and having been crying out for.
They might have been at 80% but i think we were at that level as well, more to come from us too,its all gonna come down to what happens on the night, they play as they did in that leg,and we up our game mmmm, gonna be a night and a half.
We must be the luckiest team in europe,in the last round against Aalesund in Norway we were told by the Norwegians that was the worst they had played at home in 2 years, now we have a Danish fan saying thats the worst they have played in recent memory, could it be down to not being allowed to play their normal game, just a thought.
The last time we made this round in europe we played Nancy and having seen the game tonight, this team are not in the same class as the French side,if everthing goes for us and we get a decent ref who will at least give us a fair percentage of decisions unlike that idiot tonight,we have a real chance of doing this, what we need is any and all well fans who are able to get here to do so and make this a night to remember.
Even if we could afford him and he wanted to come,do you really think we are going to get involved in any transfers of any kind with Cardiff of all clubs. No
Great news, one thing though had a look at his bio on wiki his middle name is Alexander, his parents must have had a weird sense of humour, his name being Nick A Blackman is that no some sort of police motto or something
My worry would be re height is we signed a decent full back a few seasons ago from ireland,Murphy who because of his height was hit by the opposition playing long diagonals to him against their centre forward, so height in the full back area does matter
What has happened to the aalesunds fans that seemed to haunt this site pre match, and the one in particulars 4-0 pre match prediction, shades of flamurtari i hope
I have been following this thread since it started and i still dont know what the f@@k its about something about some spanish geezer who some so called well fan says we have on trial or which might be more likely some homo looking to get his boyfriend a job
Posted this on the euro game thread and thought i should repeat here, listened to the C.B pre match interview tonight and he mentioned the english teams he had been in contact with re loan signings they where Blackburn Sunderland,Chelsea and Man Utd sounds promising
A little side note listened to the C.B. pre match interview and he mentioned the english teams he had been talking to re loan signings Sunderland,Blackburn,Chelsea and Man Utd
I think the 12 pages about the lack of a shirt sponsor is mostly down to how it affects the club going into the new season im sure this news will bring a collective sigh of relief amongst the support that we do have a deal in place,as will a date of when the shirts go on sale,if known?
