Felt like we were being shown the Aberdeen site's recording on Sportscene. Did not reflect the game I watched.

Saying the same about the pitch yesterday, looking very lush. But it seemed very greasy as several players were having difficulty stopping and turning without sliding, especially Kennedy.

Don't usually add my condolences on former players. But Joe Wark was different, a true gentleman off the park and such a pleasure to meet around Fir Park. He is now at rest.

A side note on this Lasley family day, nice to watch the Twardzik brothers line up against each other during the 2nd half.

Working with so many Jambos I have to say one thing made their response quite gentle today. They were left feeling very disappointed at how poorly Motherwell played and felt sorry for Motherwell's fans.

Working in city centre until just before kick-off so may batter along but go in the home end if it's not all ticket.

So that's why it was a lot quieter this afternoon. Hope the Bois had a chance to drop in on Pitlochry. Great start but hopefully they will build on it this season. Superb breaks from Laing on several occasions, just wished one of them had resulted in the goal they deserved. Though Skippy's penalty was woeful because of the soft award it was probably justice.

Always been my favourite trip because of the fortunate meeting with a local girl who invited me back to Finland to stay with her and meet her family at Helsinki. Just had a look at the photographs. Happy memories.

Twardzik's first half performance made him my man of the match. A lot more solid in the second half with Lasley and McManus on. Huge thanks to McManus as his gift of his training top made one young 'Well fan so happy he jumped into a canal!!!
