  1. Again can I thank you for the offer but a mate from Ayrshire has just been on the phone and things are being sorted, see you at FP?
  2. Thanks for the offer, unfortunately I cannot post you a message with phone number as you've not posted enough to activate the site's messaging system. Can we meet at Dunlop station, you say the time?
  3. Any (East) Ayrshire based fans going to the New Years Day match as I would love a lift to Fir Park from the Stewarton/Dunlop area for the latest installment?
  4. I see Murphy scored today, against Tranmere... Bugger!
  5. Similar for me, there's not a whole team option. But chose Ainsworth
  6. Enjoyed the win especially because Thistle made a game of it (unlike the recent victory against St Mirren). Five great goals to enjoy particularly with McFadden amongst the scorers. Only down side on such a superb day, the 2nd spot on a minus goal difference record has gone!
  7. Best laugh of the evening was the warning on the electronic scoreboard about fans being arrested if they were to smoke in Fir Park, but as the police and stewards stood and watched, this warning was obscured by the flare burning that unwashed's hand and the smoke billowing out of the South Stand.
  8. I'd forgotten about him already, having played for "Scottish Premier League Second Division side Motherwell" !!!

Usually use null vote if not at the game, not this time however. By McCall's reckoning tonight's game was another success for his mighty Well as nobody died.
  10. Must have been Police Scotland's Christmas decorations as they and transport plod did f@ck all to apply any of the laws they love enforcing against Well (and other diddy club) fans. The delightful darlings in green and white drank their way back into Glasgow, spewing up in the train yet that's not an offence in Scotland when you're wearing Celtic colours. Too many of them and not enough plod admits the transport plod sergeant at Glasgow Central.
  11. He came on as a 57th mins. sub and scored on 62nd and 63rd minutes. Quite an impact which he'll hopefully reproduce on Saturday.
  12. I've only seen a couple of matches this season and apart from the game at Tannadice I can't say I'm missing the regular fix of things claret and amber. Reading of today's match and the latest failure of McCall's team to turn up only reinforces this growing apathy.
  13. Another happy clapper after yesterday's win. Not for the quality of the match, though a 2-1 win will do me, and for my son's latest visit to Fir Park it ended by meeting nearly every member of the squad as he got their autograph and got photographed with McFadden, Hammell and Sutton. So he's back down to Engerland a very happy junior dosser.
  14. Ask the bois that marched en masse to the ground.
  15. Any news on McManus and Hutchinson's injuries?
  16. According to BBC the current MK Dons manager is favourite for the Blades post.
  17. Good day at McDermaid Park... Half price breakfast then a visit to Huntingtower Castle. Pity about the football from 'Well.
  18. According to the BBC Gossip section (Record and Sun) reports of McCall being approached to take over at Sheffield Utd.
  19. Remember the game starts at 12:45. Or do you intend taking your seat after we're 1 - 0 up?
  20. Hopefully Craig Moore is ready to make the step up after his successful season at Cowdenbeath.
  21. From the middle of the East Stand it seemed like he was just removing an offensive weapon in the form of a bamboo cane! Thankfully the stewards then left the choirs to enjoy themselves.
  22. Looks like we may have been watching the next generation of Bois (and Gyrls?) this afternoon.
  23. Just brilliant watching the two choirs in that corner of the ground, especially as more and more youngsters went across to join with the group on the South Stand. Brings back the memories of me doing the same in the East Stand 39 years ago and how this got me hooked. Well done to all at Fir Park for this initiative. Numpty: hope you enjoyed today's visit to Fir Park.
  24. Possibly yes, as I was delighted to hear United had taken the lead so late on.
