  1. Not alone, Sutton and Irwin looked dead on their feet at that point. Very alarming to note in view of the current crop of injuries and the dire performances against Stjarnan.
  2. Say hello as I'm doing the exact same thing. Going to Bristol Wednesday afternoon to get as much sleep as possible before the crazy timed flight to Iceland.
  3. Flights and hotel booked, Welcome Break card identified to go for wee jaunts while in Iceland. What are people doing for match tickets?
  4. Is he handsome enough to play for his boyhood heroes?
  5. The free booze I was offered by the Blue Nosed neighbours in Ayrshire just kept that brilliant day going for so much longer to enjoy.
  6. Seriously, you can probably write to Police Scotland and request a copy of the film if you can prove that you are included in the relevant clip. Check the police website for guidance on the Data Protection Act application.
  7. Seems like his off-field issues will work in 'Well's favour. Money won't be his greatest motivation as long as he considers it is enough to make him stay at a club that has allowed/encouraged him to concentrate on his football again.
  8. Today's Scum reports Stephen McManus is extending his contract by another year.
  9. Feel like a fraud as I'm on my way to Fir Park on the train back from Oban. Surely I should be on route to Ibrox when on this service?
  10. Will Motherwell be opening both decks of the South stand and the wings of the PO stand to accommodate 7000 ICT fans. Or open a hospitality box for the 7 of them?
  11. Really enjoyed the result and some of the play, but so disappointed at how poor Hearts were, even Jamie McDonald had a surprisingly poor game in goals... thankfully! The crowd's laughter when McFadden landed on his @rse when he tried his mazy run towards the end was superbly captured by Alba's coverage, which I noticed was broadcastable before the watershed.
  12. Delighted Leitch had his start today and also welcomed Murray's contribution when he came on again. To be coached and encouraged through a competitive game by the likes of McFadden, as they were today, must only be beneficial to their development... more please McCall.
  13. Issued shares have been sold or allocated to shareholders, whereas unissued shares are authorized shares that are available for the company to sell them or allocate them to shareholders
  14. Celtic embarrassed? You're having a laugh.
  15. Might not have been the worst, though he was crap. But the biggest disappointment was Tony Thomas when he signed after his time at Tranmere, where he was superb. Really looked forward to watching him once again but in claret and amber. However he was so fat and lazy that he rightly disappeared quite quickly.
  16. McCall seems hopeful that the rule preventing "A. Player" joining a team mate on loan at a Tayside club may be reviewed on Monday by the SPFL. Hopefully that will give the generous directors the chance to get their money back.
  17. With no news being announced today I presume that Anier has not said no and therefore Motherwell are now in the midst of negotiating the package (players out on loan and Anier's payments) to fund Anier's stay at the club.
  18. Credit to Richard Gordon for initiating Saturday's discussion about Motherwell's success over the festive period. However it was rapidly rerouted by Chick Young and Willie Miller when they discussed Michael Higdon's success last season before moving on to discuss Virgil van Dijk and Derek McInnes!!! Where's Stephen Craigan when you need him?
  19. Interesting comment about Twardzik at the end, here's hoping it works out.
  20. Any news of the rubber stamp yet?
  21. Maybe Nielsen and Hollis have benefited from the same sit-down heart to heart the team had after Albion and Celtic. Hopefully after Saturday's game with ICT we'll gladly remember Dan's contibution but he won't be missed.
  22. Glad to hear McCall on Radio Scotland saying that the move to keep Ainsworth just needs to be rubber stamped over the next day or two.
  23. My son's favourite part of a day at the football. He waits for however long it takes to meet the players as they leave FP after the game to get their autograph and a photograph. He's also sat at the front of the East Stand while the player's warm up, though this is not as successful.
