  1. Aw come on it's no that bad. I've seen a lot worse.
  2. Would you honestly believe anything you read in the Sun? But seriously, JG Doesn't seem like the type of guy who will move as frequently as what McGhee does. And if he was going to move for family reasons as was suggested in an earlier post, I don't think it would be to Brighton as that is further from Cheshire than here (and he would have some of the worst traffic around London to get through on the way there). Anyway I'm pretty sure his family are up here too.
  3. I'd just like to echo everything said. It was a great night and everyone just seemed to muck in and enjoy it. I think we were even giving the ref stick at one point!!! and I even managed to kick the ball a couple of times!!! Dougie Arnott and Stevie Kirk were great giving everybody encouragement. I think the way Dougie was talking his boy is at High School, and in the school team. Definitely one too watch in the future. Think the end score was 11-8 to the aways. But who knows? Definitely a big well done to the organisers, and thanks.
  4. Got it on my mobile too.

    Slane?

Think we should let the physios do their work with him and see how it goes. Plenty time for speculation when he comes back. Just because other teams come in for players doesn't mean they will go to them.
  6. Hopefully he stays here for a while anyway.
  7. My wee girl was a mascot in the cup game v Inverness a few weeks ago. She put Mark Reynolds as her favourite player. Really enjoyed herself.

    Hearts

Difficult choice as there were a few great performances. Thought Mark Reynolds did brilliant though as he had a few good runs and a couple of crosses toward goal. O'Brien and Forbes were good too.

    Motherwell Flag

Looked good from the Main Stand. Although I'm at the other end of the Main Stand

    Loanees

Would like to see Ruddy stay as he is a great keeper, and I think he has been quoted as saying he'd like to stay on.

    Goalie Top

I don't mind the top but the socks are a bit too pink! The top along with black shorts and socks is okay when you see some of the other efforts this year like the one the other goalie was wearing yesterday.
  12. Motherwell v Hearts in August or September 2004 but I always watched on TV before that.
  13. Just illustrates their arrogance doesn't it. Can't put the fact that they didin't beat us down to us playing good football. Can't bear to admit we played as good or better than them.
  14. Rangers are playing Dundee? Go get 'em Maros!

    John Ruddy

He is a good keeper - his triple save a few weeks back was awesome. Hope we do manage to keep him at Fir Park as at least he is getting games each week here. I saw somewhere that Yassin is quite keen to stay too.
  16. JG is hardly in the door and some people are worrying about rumours. If it was McGhee they were talking about, I might have thought about some truth in it but I think Gannon tends more to see things through at a club from what I have read about him. You know all the rumours that flew about regarding who would be our manager, and this is probably because he played with Crewe at one time, and was seen at the Crewe game. So I wouldn't exactly be worrying yet. Hopefully John Boyle will have the savvy to try and keep him at theArk after this season.
  17. I would ideally like to see the Well win both games but the semi-finals has to be our goal and then the finals. Go out to win or draw on Saturday. Gannon will be watching all the tactics during the game on Saturday, and make some fine tuning for Tuesday so we are not playing an identical game, This will put St Mirren off their stride a bit for Well to win.
  18. I think Craigan and Reynolds or Craigan and Hutchison. I mean you don't play so many international games as Craigan has if you are not a good player. But I agree it is a good situation having a choice of players. Now need to get into the same situation with strikers so they have a bit of competition for a place too.
  19. That's something that needs to be stopped for both sides of the Old Firm. At the end of last season it was announced they wouldn't get in the Cooper, and I kind of assumed that they would be restricted to the South stand like all the other away support. Then at the Rangers game there was away support at either end of the Phil O'Donnell stand, right above the disabled area. I was talking to folk that were sitting in the disabled area and they were saying that the conduct of the Rangers fans was atrocious - throwing coins and spitting on them, and one of them said he complained to the polis and was basically told to shut up or get out. Also some of the people that were going up to the food kiosks were getting abuse shouted at them and Rangers fans wanting to fight. I think that this kind of conduct should be stopped by only allowing Old Firm Fans into the South stand like all the other supports are, after all Motherwell fans should be allowed to enjoy the game in peace in their home stadium.

    Phil's Legacy

That's a great legacy to Phil O'Donnell, kind of thing he would appreciate. Well done to all concerned.
  21. I agree with that. I also heard Paul needs more surgery. Give the lad a chance to get back on his feet, and let JG deal with the contract side as it happens - he seems to know what he's doin.
  22. Have met most of the players and Managers since 2004 until now, and Stevie Kirk and Dougie Arnott. They have mostly been great to talk to. Don't agree with the negative comment about Coach as I thought he had a good sense of humour but was quite quiet. of the Managers Terry Butcher is a brilliant person, really down to earth, and I also found Scott Leitch and Mark McGhee were great. Mark is quiet but fine to talk to. Can't really say there were any players I didn't like. I also remember Davie Cooper signing autographs at an Open Day away from Fir Park and I stood and spoke to him not realising who it was at the time (I think he was still with Rangers). I would say that the players at Motherwell do appreciate the supporters and are good at signing autographs etc for them or talking to them.
  23. Have to agree that I really like this year's Canterbury strips, though I am not 100% sure of the pink goalie strip, still it might grow on me. But I liked the Anglian one two seasons ago - I've got the away one but never managed to get the home one yet. But I'll keep working on it. Can't really remember one that I totally didn't like.
  24. Logintolearn usually good at replying to emails - I'm on the AECDL just now and it's good doing it through Logintolearn because you can go at your own pace and fit it in with work, college, etc. If you are thinking about, go for it because it recognised by a lot of employers too. To you guys who have not had anything back it will be because they are doing all the replies individually - obviously takes time.
