The ref was a total fanny! He was a fussy and 'look at me I'm important too' prick. Christ, he even walked over as Forbes was about to take the penalty and touched the ball, must have moved it a centimetre. I also think the rules regarding yellow cards are a bit of a farce, Hammell gets booked for time wasting then shortly after a Utd player took him out at the knee,an awful tackle. Result yellow card, similar crime eh!

Can't wait to go, this match jumped out the fixture list when it was published, and we have played well enough to warrant getting excited about the game. Used to enjoy going up to Aberdeen but I haven't been recently. There are at least 2 of us going up from Fife and I hope that come Saturday at least 2 more will join us. Well, are you up for it guys....?

Nice post Dave. Thoroughly enjoyed the game yesterday, the whole team played well. Will be interesting to see how Humphreys progresses, bit of a headless chicken yesterday but with that pace and good coaching he has to be an asset throughout the season.

Not trying to get in early wi the thread, honest! Been champin at the bit for this game ever since the fixtures came out. Was hoping against hope that we did well enough in the preceding games to warrant a good support going up. As a Motherwell fan all I've wanted over the years was to get up on a Saturday morning and feel excited, not winning the league excited just the thrill of watching a talented team with a bit of dig. I think we've got that now. Roll on next Saturday, today was great. Hope there is a fair few of us going up. Love you all, love Saturdays and love Motherwell
