  1. It looked like the keeper was planning to head it then changed his mind and tried to kick it but just rattled his own player with his knee. I don't think the wee push made any difference but it means by the letter of the law the ref can justify his decision.
  2. Winning away from home on plastic after going behind is a great result. It's worth bearing in mind we went near enough a year without scoring an equaliser not long ago.
  3. Grammy scores with his left peg. Unbelievable!
  4. He seems more mobile. The shoulder injury must have kept him out the gym.
  5. Nicely done from Watt. O'Hara has been good at those corners.
  6. Getting beat by a low shot from there means he got his angles wrong.
  7. That was a terrible decision from the ref with Holt and Justin.
  8. If we picked this team anywhere else I'd be up in arms but we are basically matching Livi on their shit tip of a pitch. Only three recognized midfielders in the squad so that is definitely where we need extra numbers (and quality).
  9. I think Alexander showed last season that he knows what he is doing. We should have scored today and scored more last week plus we actually scored an equaliser so it's better than under Robinson. The issue at the moment is too many players not up to the required standard. We can't keep on pretending that Maguire is a midfielder or that Watt is a reliable forward. We can't let Donnelly try and play his way back to form. Lawless is done and Lamie isn't good enough to start. If we don't sign better players then Alexander won't last the season but questions will also need to be asked about Burrows. Posters on here like to pretend that we are paying players a grand a week but the club wage bill is £4.8m a year so there is scope to bring in players good enough for our level but the budget seems to be mismanaged.
  10. Aye and he got binned at Luton because he was only interested in creaming 10% off player sales.....
  11. Don't forget wee Robbo jnr. Newell getting an extension but the club not announcing because he was so shite is probably the pinnacle of this. He's playing in the 6th tier of English football now so he might be back on our radar if he can match the 2 goals Amalozur scored last season.
  12. Crawford not called on again and not mentioned in Alexander's interview about the extended squad. GA obviously wants shot of him but the obvious question is why was he extended? Parker another pointless body.
  13. Beaten 1-0 off a team that conceded 8 goals in their first two league games. The team we started today are Championship level. Years of shambolic windows continue to cripple us. We need a strong finish to this one. Lamie, Donnelly, Maguire and Lawless shouldn't be anywhere near the team.
  14. We need two new midfielders, a left sided centre back and another forward. We seem to start the season a month after everyone else these days.
  15. Lewis Irons hasn't really grasped the concept of radio commentary.
  16. Kelly handles the ball outside the box on his throw outs nearly every game.
  17. Aye Maguire is never a starter in this league. His contribution on the ball today was pitiful. So many times it's four touches and three shoulder dips to play a sideways pass. Donnelly has always struggled with fitness and I don't see him getting back to his 19/20 peak after that injury. O'Hara seems to have concussion issues and it's a mystery how Crawford got an extension.
  18. Lamie had a decent second half despite getting done on the 6 yard line. He was terrible first half.
  19. Two midfielders is an absolute necessity. We are currently paying the price for Burrows and Robinson running a football club like a game of Bargain Hunt for years and signing 5 duds in the hope of selling one. The Chief Executive needs to get bodies in and the manager needs to make clear which players aren't good enough. Robbie Crawford must be up for grabs considering he can't get an appearance at the moment.
  20. A good point considering the shambles in midfield. Tony Watt bottled it but the fact we had so many chances despite playing poorly is a positive.
  21. Terrible from Watt. Could have pulled it.
